Dems are hard left, but they have to have policies to help them get power until they can do a power grab and never lose power again. They support a military empire because it will keep prices steady at home, which will help them at the ballot box.

I never claimed I'm not subject to US laws, but I do believe laws that aren't making you better off should be repealed. If I'm stuck at a red light at 2:00 AM and can clearly see no one is coming either way, I'll go rather than wait several minutes for the light to change.

Most countries are a mix of socialist and capitalist policies. You can't have capitalism without checks and balances as history shows. If countries were pure capitalist, they would not be long for this world.

Marx had a lot of visions some good some bad. But his main vison is to put the means of production in the hands of the workers. He never said everyone gets the same amount. I'm sure he was smart enough to know that would never happen.

So, is what Trump is doing your utopia? Rule by the rich and corporations?

I guess we will see how it plays out with no SS, education, health care, disability, housing and basic human rights.

There was no shortage of dire warnings about what this administration was planning to do despite the constant denials.

And now we're seeing it unfold just like was predicted.

If only people would put some effort into studying what the candidates were truly likely to do, not to mention their characters and past history rather than simply voting for the party they've always voted in the past.
