NATO is a DEFENCE treaty.

It is no threat to Russia providing they behave themselves.

Europe and the world would be safer with Ukraine being admitted.

And probably safer with USA being booted out. As that looks like the only way Ukraine gets membership as long as there is a Russian agent in the White House.
