That’s what my Iranian friends say. The majority are not Muslim. Some may not admit it but the country is becoming less religious by the day. There’s only been a handful of surveys in Iran, you should be able to google them. There are a lot of Iranians in Houston. Most of them are not very religious as well. None of them say they grew up hating America or death to America. They have huge connections to their country.
