Now, China gets 0% discount - if that - and the American refinery complex in southern Texas/Louisiana which was built to refine Venezuelan oil goes into overdrive. I had a 50/50 chance to be an American citizen when I was a baby. My parents had a choice of Canada, USA or S. Africa. They weren't going to go to Africa. They chose Canada. Personally, if the deal was good, I think Canada should consider becoming part of the USA. Every Canadian's wealth would instantly increase simply by the value of the dollar. Plus it would not having to go through US Customs as International passengers or driving across the border.

Where is that 80% number come from? Venezuela isn't even in Top 10 of countries China is importing oil from.
