I know most in here are Trump supporters, so here's what I will say as a liberal Democrat.

I'm not rooting against our next president. I hope Trump has the greatest presidency in history, because I'm an American. I am just certain that won't happen. He's a hypocrite and most of the things he proposes are contradictory. He is promising to lower costs, while also promising tariffs that will absolutely, positively, without a doubt raise costs by massive amounts.

If you voted for Trump because you thought grocery costs were gonna go down, you're an absolute moron. You just are. This isn't me making an uncertain prediction. It is literally guaranteed that costs will go up within 2025. I'm sorry if you were too stupid to know or figure it out.

what you probably know but pretend not to, is that that tariffs are used as a bargaining chip and will never be imposed across the board. I am sure you have heard of negotiations. Pretending otherwise is just classic intellectual dishonesty.

The US has been using tariffs for years, as have dozens of other countries. Why hasn't Biden taken off Trump's tariffs?

While there are a ton of people on both sides who are single issue voters, such as inflation like you mentioned, informed voters are not. There are many who cast a vote for Kamala simply because she was a woman of color. lol.

Take a look at all these GOP strongholds that believed anything that was told to them .

The biggest shifts for the former president were in two Democratic strongholds, New York and California, where the lead for the Democrats was cut down by 12 points: from 23 points to 11 points in New York, and from 29 to 17 points in California. The result in New York meant the Democrats saw their worst result in the state since 1988.

Maryland, another Democratic stronghold, also saw a large shift toward Trump, with the Democrats' lead cut down by 10 points since 2020, from 33 points to 23 points. Meanwhile, in Florida, where Trump won the last 2 elections by a narrow margin of between 1 and 3 points, the President-elect won by 13 points in a 10-point swing from 2020.

Meanwhile, Connecticut, Illinois and New Jersey, all of which were won by Harris, saw the Democrats' lead reduced by 9 points since 2020, while Massachusetts and Rhode Island saw the leads for the Democrats reduce by 8 and 7 points respectively.

Trump said he's going after the criminals first. There is over 1.5 million. That won't be easy but it has to be done. I would be too concerned about mass deportation or millions of people. Also, those in the country illegally came deport themselves. Don't lose sight of the fact they aren't in the country legally. They broke the law.

The ole "who do you think is gonna pick produce" line is getting kinda old isn't it? How do other countries do it? Who is gonna build houses? Like America never built houses or picked produce before illegals. There are laws which are voted on by the people. You cannot just choose which laws you enforce. You invite chaos. You have things like sanctuary cities which protect criminals.

You secure the border. You deport the criminals. You after them hard. You go after the drug cartels. You go after them as well. You finish the wall. You allow seasonal workers to come in from Mexico. They register for work permits.

Like I said before, tariffs are used in bargaining. Nothing new there. Some tariffs make sense. Years ago, Toyota wanted to sell their cars in the US. America said fukk you. You either pay a 25% tariff or you build a plant in the States. They built the plant. Thousands of jobs.

If you cannot admit that the Biden administration was a disaster, then I cannot take you all that seriously. Doing the same thing over and over is the definition on insanity. Washington is broken. Has been for awhile. If you were honest, you'd admit that fact. America is becoming fatter, further in debt, and more woke every year and some of you applaud it. American mortality rate is almost 10 years less that Europe's now. 35 trillion debt. Men playing in women's sports. Weaponizing the justice system against their political opponent. WTF happened?
