Putin’s mockery of Trump shows how the autocrat feels empowered by a Trump presidency.
Recently, Putin-controlled Russian state TV broadcasted nude images of Melania Trump to the Russian public to humiliate her and Trump.
Russian media representatives have also denied Trump’s claim that he called Putin to demand a de-escalation of Russian forces in Ukraine.
Instead, Putin has only escalated his attack on Ukraine, including massing troops on the border, ordering more missile strikes, and bringing in troops from North Korea.
Putin’s aides reportedly stated that Trump “owes” Russia for its support of his election, and implied that Putin fully intends to call in favours with Trump in the White House.
Contrast Trump’s weakness with President Biden’s approach to grow and strengthen NATO and support Ukraine in its fight against Putin’s invasion.Comment -
