The condition, known as NVLD, was first recognized in 1967 and doesn't yet have a formal clinical definition. It is characterized by a significant gap between verbal abilities — which are just fine — and nonverbal kinds of learning that involve visual-spacial processing, such as telling time on an analog clock, reading a map and balancing a budget.
Those challenges with spacial awareness can give children trouble with motor skills. That can make them clumsy or cause problems with tasks like tying shoes, using silverware and writing by hand, according to the NVLD Project, a nonprofit that aims to have the condition added to the American Psychiatric Assn.'s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

I'm curious why you don't care much who wins. I'm very familiar with the cynical view that it doesn't matter because both parties just want to screw us and benefit themselves, but I think the difference here is pretty large, both domestically and globally. Another Trump presidency scares me for a lot of reasons, project 2025 being only one of them

Fair enough. I get where you're coming from. And I agree Biden was already not a good Democratic candidate in 2020, let alone 2024. And major Dem politicians don't look so great after acting like they fully supported him in 2024 until they suddenly didn't. Biden was clearly unfit for another 4 years, so they just kind of had to lie to say otherwise. I believe most of them thought it was the best thing for the party and country. And what is Kamala gonna do, speak out against her own president? I can't blame her for not doing that.

And I understand the whole "lesser of two evils" mindset. But sometimes one of those evils is way, way, way, way worse

Father Time is undefeated. Biden was okay in 2020 but not so much in 2024. Trump is also showing signs of aging. I’m not sure he can make it another 4 years. I noticed The Dems have some dynamic leaders coming up. I haven’t seen the same from the Republican but I’m sure some will come forward once Trump is gone. No one can take up airspace while he’s around. I absolutely don’t want 4 more years of Trump and his constant “look at me”. But as long as neither party don’t control all of congress I’m good. Hopefully these politicians will start working together instead of the partisan BS. It’s really getting old.
