Businesses have shown over and over again to take profits and pay off their executives, by back shares to help shareholders. They will never give back to consumers. Why would they?

Yes, my own history working a job where a lot of my income was tips. I paid a lot more in payroll taxes than I did when there were no tips.

Most businesses aren't publicly traded and have no shares to buy back. For the ones that are, they'd be smart to get a competitive edge against other companies.

I’m really not following you Josh. Are saying you paid more in taxes than you made? And if you did, why blame the IRS? Blame your accountant.

Businesses not publicly traded are even worse. They just pocket all the profits for themselves. None of these companies are given back to you and I.

No, I'm saying the IRS took more withholdings when I made minimum wage + tips than any other job I had. I wasn't getting tipped as often as a bartender or sever would be, so I can see the IRS taking a lot more from them.

Go ahead and prove non public companies are worse. If they're smart they'll put it into growing their business.

They always withheld according to what I put on my W-4 (My employer). Maybe they do it different for special people.

When I was self-employed, I sent in an estimated amount in the first 3 quarters, based on what I thought I would make that year(invoices and tips) and would then settle up in the 4th quarter.
