Relax, my statement is not about Trump. It is simply about the inside-out rot of life long politicians and Washington DC. I’m on the record for many years not supporting either candidate. Trump is what he is and was that long before he became president. All that is irrelevant. I have never voted for Trump or backed the other guy. I do 100% believe most politicians are crooks, play dirty and operate in the grey area of the law. Decent people or not, the very essence of politics is telling you everything is great. Absolutely. As for knowing politicians- my YPO partner is a former Governor and my company developed talking points for over a dozen candidates on both sides of the aisle. You do not know what goes on behind the curtain. They make less than us and live larger than us for a reason.

He developed the Ohio rail system and improved public schools. Ohio today has some of the best schools in the country. I knew Lawton Chiles (Democrat University of Florida). His family was my hosts when I went to UF to play football. You will never find a finer person on earth. He was Florida's governor for 8 years until he died. Chiles walked over a thousand miles going house to house shaking hands to get votes. He NEVER took more than $100 in a donation. He beat Jeb Bush when Florida was turning red. He never lost an election. When he died the 2 republicans on the judiciary committee wept in front of everyone. Both Betts and Chiles served this country honorably.
