But he reversed course on Monday and said the state would join the program after a Democratic lawmaker introduced a bill to require participation. He said he was swayed by hearing stories about hunger from high school students.
The remaining holdouts are Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont and Wyoming.

In Iowa's rejection, Gov. Kim Reynolds said it was not a long-term solution.

You saw the clip I posted where Leslie Stall lied to the camera during the 60 Minutes interview with Trump and how Don Lemon lies about the spying that went on against Trump. These aren't little things. Both supposed news outlets deliberately lied to their viewers. They didn't just get it wrong. These lies are deigned to mislead the public. AKA election interference. AKA rigging the election. AKA stealing the election.
Do you not see what is going on? Hillary emails no problem. Biden too old and senile to stand trial so he won't be charged for stealing classified docs but ok to be president?
So many lies and were told as true that turned out to be lies. Do you really think there will not be more evidence the 2020 election was stolen? I agree with you about the subpoenas. It should be a cut and dry issue, like it would be for (most of) the rest of us. All 542 elected offices in DC (and their staff) pretty much have full immunity when acting in their official capacity, though. Sometimes this is a good thing, but mostly not.
Most all congressional hearings should not be held behind closed doors. The taxpaying public should have the right to government transparency and accurate information. As far as most politicians are concerned, the less the public knows of "what goes on" in DC, the better. And then they'll beg for money to fund their campaigns while flip-flopping on key issues and spewing more fake platforms. It's the same every election cycle on both side of the aisle.Comment -

People usually lie to get out of trouble, not to be charged for something they didn't do. Always saying "They have lied to you before" after 100's if not 1000's of times gets weaker every time you use it. The FBI informant lied to you about the Bidens. Then promoted it as, that was what they were doing for the people, to find out what was going on. Problem was they were all invited to the meeting before hand and left that part out. When Donald Trump Jr. stayed at the Trump-owned hotel in Washington in 2017, the Secret Service was billed $1,185 a night, nearly six times the allowed per diem rate of $201 per night, according to the records.
And when the then-president stayed at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, the Secret Service detail was charged nightly rates that were “nearly double” the per diem rate, the records showed.
Legal experts say "It is against the law to overcharge the United States Government for services."
Rep. Gerry Connolly on Trump overcharging the Secret Service for stays at his hotels: “Here we have an egregious case of not only out right lying—but a level of venality that is jaw-dropping.”

I suspect about 80% of Americans are not liars, USA haters, overly woke or overly conservative.
But the other 20% who have no care about truth or reason spend all day shouting back at each other that the other side is evil in every thought they have and this is overwhelming the narrative. For now.
Thankfully the silent majority always pushes back when pushed too far like now and equalizes things again eventually.
