Best thing we can do, for my two cents, is pray for our country. The political sphere has become so toxic, it’s hard to even decipher what our “best options” are. As a Faith and Family first person, I struggle with many of our constituents. I also realize that I’m in a very small minority with how I approach it. Everyone has their one or two voting points, and that’s absolutely their right. Maybe we can start a separate thread where we can discuss things we agree with, from both sides, and build from there. I dunno, just spitballing. God Bless!

Yesterday the Supreme Court made it official that discriminating against someone simply because of the color of their skin is racist by abolishing the racist Affirmative Action. Today, they struck down Biden’s plan to buy votes by paying for student loans.

Doesn’t matter, people against the student loan will just pay taxes on other useless items. They won’t get cheaper taxes it’ll just get reallocated.
Then by end of this winter or early spring we will see defaults go up and then a real recession will hit.

As for affirmative action if people really think that eliminating this won’t lead to some schools seeing names like Jerome or Thuy or something like that and denying them entrance then there’s a lot of ignorance. Our society will see always see race, it’s now just giving people the ability to not treat them fairly.

Odd that Republican run states have lowest scores in math and science and democrat run states are much higher.

Looked up the educational rankings of all states the other day, and the bottom 15 are almost all Republican led states. If Democrats are so busy teaching all this crazy stuff THAT IS POSTED ABOUT HERE DAILY or at least weekly, makes me wonder what's going on in the red states.
Since they can't keep up in math and science.

I promise you the county where I went to school, is 70% Republican. when I graduated in 1988, we were in the bottom 25% for the state and when my nephew graduated in 2005 it was, in the bottom 10%. Not a city to be found. County has about 52,000 residents and biggest town has about half of them.

The blue states don't have any of those cities run by Democrats. Hmm seems odd, That Democrats only run cities in red states.
So in Blue states where the education is better Republicans are running the big inner cities, who knew!

It’s actually not the issue whatsoever. Even Pelosi said Biden couldn’t do this because only congress could approve spending. The issue is and was and everyone knows it (except you, which isn’t even surprising anymore) that it was done to get votes just before the midterms. Biden knew it wouldn’t happen but he didn’t care. He lied and now he’s playing the game of pretending he’s disappointed and surprised.

I remember when I first heard the word affirmative action years ago. I thought it was a comedy bit of some kind because it’s clearly literally the definition of racism.
