Thankfully in Australia anyone can get local govt approval to hold a protest about pretty much anything without being subjected to undue harassment as they express their opinion. Even hardcore pro socialism groups.

Freedom of speech means you don't get to say what is legitimate for others to believe.

Whether you or I feel hopeful for Venezuela should be irrelevant when it comes to what people can say or support in Australia.

I don't think you need to be a never Trumper to want to question if regime change in another country through force is a legitimate thing, or a good precedent to set for future governments.

Why do you bring up Noriega? Surely that is one of the worst examples of inhuman military action for corporate greed that was also justified as being done to help the people?

A documentary about the carpet bombing of an entire suburb and thousands of victims hidden in mass graves was made in 1992 and banned from release in the USA. It's worth watching and might make you shudder at the parallels being seen played out right now in Venezuela.
