Any income level can do a chapter 13 bankruptcy, which means I make payments on my debts but it's 0% interest. The interest being gone is huge. If I pay off everything in 3 years, I will likely pay 30K or so in interest

YOu make 200 a year selling cars but lawyers make 120 a year after 200 grand in student debt.

Whatever car you are driving, downgrade it. Shop clearance, buy meat from the grocery store that's reduced by 50% and meant to use that day. Get your clothes from 90% racks, they have stuff they put on their just cause it's the wrong season. Things like that. Ppl have no idea how to be frugal these days when they make these high salaries.

it's not 30k free money. It could be a lifetime of extra trouble obtaining finance or good interest rates.

Plan to be a winner is a better way to think.

You might be able to make a deal with the main creditors to suspend interest anyway, whilst you stick to a repayment plan.

I had a monster hot streak at the beginning of 2022 where i won back everything I ever lost and then some. After that, I hit a cold slump and lost everything chasing huge amounts and parlays


After that, I lost everything just trying to chase back and doing stupid parlays - my 401K is down to 20K. As it stands now, I'm in about 80K between personal loans and credit card debt. I'm filing chapter 13 to where at least the interest will be eliminated


I'm unbelievably frustrated with myself for ever allowing this to go so bad. I have a beautiful life - I make about 200K selling cars, my wife makes 60K a year as a nurse. She's a beautiful 24 year old girl who loves me to death. There's no reason for me to ever get involved with this

I tried to do it again last year but I made too much to qualify for chapter 7 and it wasn't worth them garnishing my checks for chapter 13 while still having to pay the lawyer 3 grand. Plus my 100k education loans wouldn't be included.
I said fk it I didn't do it and just stiffed a bunch of ppl. Ive been served and sued several times. Every day its robbing peter to pay paul.
