#8There should be a national death execution law..
Not left up to the states..
Some people deserve to suffer and die for the pain they have caused..

So, do you think that people that take the life of another or that torture and violate women and children violently, people like that have rights?

#28So in certain circumstances such as violent, murderous people having the right to live, as a nation, there should be no evolution of laws or amendments after 245 years?Originally posted by TATUMUSEver heard of this?

#30Hang em high!!
Shouldn't take 2 decades for this prick to be executed though, what a waste of tax dollars and jail space.
I say make it a few weeks tops when found guilty by 12 jurors with forensic, video and or DNA to support the guilty conviction verdict of death. Leave no doubt and bypass the appeal process!!

#321000 people cried while 6 billion people cheered. Its sad that he was almost able to hold up the execution by saying the drug cocktail actually allowed some pain to exist during the process. I say the pain part is a good deterrent. We need more pain during the process. This is why the old electric chair is the best way. Ask Ted Bundy how relaxing the wooden recliner they strapped his ass to felt afterwards and if he could I bet he would say it was electrifyingly refreshing. It also has the added bonus of having some nasty sounding noises.Comment -

#33To answer the question you pose, that's not a question to be answered by you nor I alone, but by the American people as a whole. I simply quoted the Constitution of the United States, and that's the way it is as it currently stands. It isn't written in stone that it must remain that way forever. If you read Article V, you'll find that there are TWO ways to amend the Constitution...neither of which includes a clause of "because Buckandadime said so" (by Congress or by a Constitutional Convention of the States, which I know that there is at least one petition ongoing to do so with several states already signed on, [but not enough yet..must have 75% (38 states) to create a convention] in order to reel in the scope of the federal government's spending). Nonetheless, the American people have made changes to the original constitution 27 times so far. So to rephrase your question as a statement, if the nation as a whole deems it appropriate to make changes to what was written in the Constitution 231 years ago (not 245 as you stated...the Constitution was ratified in 1789), the founding fathers put TWO methods in place for that to happen. See...those dudes were a lot smarter than they get credit for in today's world.Originally posted by BuckandadimeSo in certain circumstances such as violent, murderous people having the right to live, as a nation, there should be no evolution of laws or amendments after 245 years?

#35Yup, bypass drugs and all that other crap. Just strap the bastard down to the electric chair and flip the switch.
