In some ways I agree with you. This death in Minnesota happened because the police broke the law. If the police didn't use illegal violence, this guy would still be alive.

In other ways it is fascinating to see people like you who think the constitution is meaningless and shouldn't be followed. We separate executive and judicial powers for important reasons.

Even crazier is that there are times when people do follow your advice of "don't break the law to begin with" and are still met with violence by the police.
