Spain: 46 million
Total of those three: 207 million
Population of the United States: 330 million

actually more ore important stats are available hospital beds, ICU beds, ventilators, # of doctors and nurses infected.

we will have thousands of deaths for things l8ke car accidents heart attacks strokes etc.by an over run health care system out of supplies. Our hospitals are almost always at 90 to 95 of capacity day to day year round. We are finishing a bad year for the flu so a lot of elderly are already in those ICU ventilator beds with the flu.

hopefully we can put off the peak and surge of corona until the flu resolves.

this is the reason for our our current isolation measures

if we don’t get added hospital mash units and carnival ship temp beds and most importantly supplies not only will doctors and nurses be getting very sick, some will just get scared mentally ill and quit or stop showing up. Knowing they are putting their lives and families lives at risk

I find it mildly interesting that people seem to think deaths are the only thing that matter. I mean, if someone is in ICU on a ventilator for a month, but they survive, then no big deal. But, if they die, then all of a sudden it's bad. I tend to think the impact of this virus goes beyond deaths, but hey maybe that's just me.

As for the number of deaths, it's not like people get the Coronavirus and immediately keel over dead. Wait a while before you start reading too much into the US death totals.

It will have long-term health impact on even those who 'recover.' The current death rate, or even entire death rate for 2020 is nowhere near reflective of the damage it will do. People with AIDS or Cancer don't die in the first month or year of diagnosis. This virus severely weakens your lung functions You will die years from now due to respiratory failure. There could be zero deaths tomorrow and 4 million deaths in 2023 all related to this virus.
