I know it's anecdotal, but my girlfriends Uncle died a little over a week ago at 58 out of nowhere with flu-like symptoms (didn't test positive for flu), respiratory failure, pneumonia symptoms, ultimately organ failure. Never was tested for Coronavirus, but it sounds like that's what he may have had. I think the 38 reported death number is way off.

A little update on this. The doctor and nurse that spent most time with him tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. This thing has been here longer than we think, which might be a good thing and means its not spreading as fast as we think or as deadly as we think. The numbers increase may be mostly due to the increase in test kits being available and used.

I'm a republican and even though I didn't like some of Bill Clinton's points of view that's what the dems need.
A fresh young face that came pretty much out of nowhere to win the parties nomination then go on to win the presidential election.

Right now the pack of dems running for the White House or have dropped out are stale faces.
Bernie (old and stale) same with Biden.
Problem is the dems have no such fresh face like Clinton was.

I live in Connecticut and even though I can't stand his political views Chris Murphy from here would be a good choice.
He was Dan Malloy's right hand man and boot lick. Another politician I couldn't stomach.
Hilary promised Malloy a high cabinet post job and word was he was devastated when Trump beat her.
Malloy didn't do anything here in Ct. except raise taxes through the roof and that really didn't do much.
What killed him was he wanted to reintroduce the tolls on all major highways after promising not to do that.

My problem with Professor Makary here is even though he has major credentials and is a healthcare futurist and all he says he 'thinks' the number is between 50 thousand and a half million.
And he uses the phrase the number is "likely" So even though he comes across as extremely credible and is well educated in medicine I can't truly 100 percent believe his numbers when he uses phrases the like 'more than likely', and 'I think the number......."
That to me says "I really don't have the exact number"
Now having said all that I believe that this virus is the real deal and I'm listening to the advice of experts in the field of viruses and agencies that deal with it too.

I'm careful but not overly concerned because I'm taking all the proper preparations, like washing hands, trying not to touch things like conveyor belts and all things like that that may be germ laden.

What kind of bothers me is that coins like quarters and dimes are the most germ laden objects and that makes sense because most everybody is in contact with coins.

Kind of startling trends... It appears to be doubling every 3 days or so.

Also, this shows only the known cases. China data indicates that for every known case, there ended up being like ~30X more unknown cases. I believe the "WHO experts" (whoever they are) indicated this multiple varies by country and how many tests are being run. I.E. The more testing that have been conducted, the lower the multiple of unknown cases.

With the limited testing comleted in US, our multiple may be higher. I've read estimates it being as high as 50. I don't know if I believe that but....

Bottom line is the trend is steepening.
