Woman raped by Met Police officer waives anonymity as he is jailed for 16 years
Lauren Taylor, who was sexually assaulted by ex-PC Adam Provan after they went on a blind date together, has waived her right to anonymity saying she “couldn’t rest until she’d come forward and spoken”.
Provan was jailed for 16 years for a series of rapes spanning almost a decade. His predatory behaviour dated back to the 1990s and went unchecked until one of his victims came forward, Wood Green Crown Court heard.
It was also told that between 2003 and 2005, Provan also repeatedly raped a female police officer and terrorised her so she feared for her life.
The court heard Provan was obsessed with young women, had viewed teenage pornography and collected more than 700 female contacts on his mobile phone.
Another female officer complained in 2005 that Provan sent her “nuisance” messages but nothing was done and the issue was dealt with “informally”, the court was told.
He also allegedly contacted a 16-year-old girl after she gave her details as a witness in 2003.
Instead, Provan, then 31, took her to some woods where he had sex with her even though she repeatedly told him no.
Afterwards, he acted as if nothing had happened and took Ms Taylor to a McDonald’s for a milkshake before forcing her to engage in a sex act in a children’s playground.Comment -
Mississippi officer out of job after 10-year-old is taken into custody for urinating in public
SENATOBIA, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi police officer who took part in the arrest and jailing of a 10-year-old child who urinated in a parking lot is “no longer employed,” and other officers will be disciplined over the incident, the city’s police chief said.
“We appreciate the public’s patience while we investigated this incident. We deeply value your trust and support, and we are dedicated to continually improving and learning from our mistakes,” Chandler wrote in the Facebook post, noting that the officers violated their training on how to deal with children.

Pigs lie again and claim a man lunged at them with a knife, but the man never even got out of his car. Once the video of the incident was released pigs quickly changed their fabricated, fairy tale story like usual. The coverup went south, but will these pigs be held accountable? Another hero had his ego bruised after a man flipped him off and proceeded to make an illegal traffic stop out of his jurisdiction. Hopefully the ignorant pig received the some training and was educated on the First Amendment and has recovered from this traumatic event.

Another lying hero claimed to "overdose" after coming into contact with fentanyl...or did he? More like one pig tazed another by accident and they needed a good CYA story. Prosecutor still sticking to the lies that pigs overdosed on opiates thrown in their faces by a fleeing suspect. This is despite the fact that the pigs' own bodycam (and police report) show one pig was tazed by another pig and both pigs' toxicology reports were clean of any drugs. It's laughable that this prosecutor is lashing out like this even after dismissing ALL charges against the suspect in this case.

More criminals wearing costumes and badges blatantly violate a man's civil rights. These pigs, like most, have no clue of what the ID laws of their state entail. In all 50 states pigs must have Reasonable, Articulable Suspicion that a crime has occurred, is occurring or is about to occur. Without RAS of a crime it is lawful to refuse a pig's request for ID, unless behind the wheel.
