Keene? What you said reminded me of that place. Man I'd give anything to live around a bunch of like-minded people that are awake and don't tolerate corruption or bs. There's strength in numbers.

School Cop Tasked with ‘Protecting’ Young Children, Arrested for Child Sex Trafficking

Poplar Bluff, MO — There are so many cases each week of police officers getting caught with child porn or sexually assaulting children that TFTP cannot report on all of them. However, the following case out of Missouri is so disconcerting that we felt it was necessary to make a point. Child predators often seek out positions of authority which allow them to carry out their sick desires while garnering the trust of those around them. Poplar Bluff police officer Brandon Michael Hopper was one of these predators.

Last week, the 39-year-old was charged with the unclassified felony of first-degree sexual trafficking of a child, the Class B felony of first-degree promoting child pornography and two Class D felonies of possession of child pornography by Butler County Prosecuting Attorney Kacey Proctor.

Hopper was a ten year veteran of the department who had requested and received the position as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Poplar Bluff Middle School last year. The school district welcomed this child predator to “protect” young children with open arms, because, after all, his badge made him a pillar of the community.

Investigators reportedly received a cyber tip that Hopper was engaged in the transfer of child pornography and looked into the claims. What they found was utterly sickening.

After his arrest, Poplar Bluff Police Department stated:

"The information indicated one of our officers was possibly sharing child pornography. As this involves one of our own employees, we are respectfully requesting the DDCC (Drug and Crime Control Division) handle the investigation. The Poplar Bluff Police Department is cooperating fully with the on-going investigation regarding a now-former employee of its force."

The investigation led to the arrest of Amber Longhibler, 28, who was also arrested on Wednesday. She was charged with sexual trafficking of a child, promoting child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography, according to KFVS.

In an interview which took place inside Longhibler’s home, investigators said she admitted to taking pictures of a nude 11-year-old girl.

Longhibler stated she took the photos at Hopper’s request, and sent them to him over the internet, according to KFVS.

When investigators searched both cell phones, they reported they found this conversation between the two:

Hopper asked Longhilber to: “send me some [child’s name] pics to trade, obviously no face pics.”

Longhilber replied: “I’ll send you what I have.”

Longhilber then sent two close up photos of a prepubescent female child’s privates.

According to investigators, when questioned, Hopper admitted to having the images on his phone. When the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative and Criminal Investigative Unit examined the school cop’s phone, they found other disturbing images and videos as well, including a video of an adult male and a four-year-old girl, and a video of an adult male and a 10-year-old girl.

Since his job at the school was relatively new, hopefully he wasn’t yet able to harm any children he was tasked with “protecting.” However, because he was so brazen about receiving the child porn in the first place, it is likely that this was not his first offense.

It should also be pointed out that the stories in the local media all referred to Hopper as a “former” officer arrested for child trafficking and child porn. This tactic is likely used to imply that the crimes were not committed by an actual current cop. However, he was not fired from the department until after he admitted to the crimes and was arrested. It is shameful indeed that blue privilege reaches so deep—even when involving those who prey on children.

Texas Cop Gives Boy a Ride Home, Then Buys Food for His Family

A police officer in Austin, Texas, has been very busy doing good deeds.
While out on patrol, Officer James Riley was told by a citizen that a little boy was walking alone in a parking lot. "He looked fairly young," Riley told InsideEdition.com. When Riley approached him, it took a bit of talking to get the child to open up.
"He kept saying 'bye,' and walking away," the policeman said. With a little cajoling, Riley was able to convince the boy to get in his cruiser so he could take the child home. The boy said he was 9, and that he had been out buying snacks for himself and his little brother.
The kid's house was less than one-tenth of a mile from the parking lot, Riley said, and at the boy's apartment, the officer discovered the little brother, and no adults. After a quick walk-through of the home, Riley also discovered there was very little in the way of food.

"I looked in the pantry and the fridge, and didn't see much food in there," Riley said. He took it upon himself to do something.
He told the children not to leave the apartment, and then went to a grocery store and stocked up on food that would last awhile and stick to their ribs. He bought ramen, cereal, hamburger and bread. He called his boss and told him what he was doing. His boss said he was in for $20. At the store, he recognized an off-duty officer doing security at the market. He was in for $20 as well.
He purchased things the boys would be able to make for themselves without turning on the stove.
He also called the boys' mother, who was at work. He learned the family had recently lost its food stamp benefits. The boys were home alone for a few hours while their mom was at her job. They would be starting summer camp in a week, but until then, the mother said she had no child care and had instructed her children to stay in the apartment until she got home.
Neighbors were checking on them while she was gone, she told Riley.
"I wasn't particularly concerned about their safety," Riley said. "They didn't seem to be in danger and they seemed very responsible for their age."
He was concerned that they didn't seem to have much food. "They're kids, they shouldn't be worried about where their next meal is coming from," he said.
Buying groceries that would get the family through several days seemed the best way to provide quick assistance, Riley said. "They needed an immediate solution and I could provide that," he said. "My sole goal was I knew I had an opportunity to help them out."
He also knew that if he didn't do anything to help, "I was going to keep thinking about them two boys."
Returning from the store, he had the boys help him carry the groceries in. All three stored them in the fridge and the pantry. He counseled them on the importance of staying inside, and told them to call 911 in case of an emergency.
He told their mother about a local food bank and a church that provide assistance to families in need. He said he just spoke to her a few days ago. The groceries "really, really helped her," he said. "She's trying to get her food benefits restored."
The Austin Police Department, where Riley is a five-year veteran, posted a photo of Riley's purchases on its Facebook page, commending him for thinking with his heart.
"This act of kindness ... is just one example of how our officers work to make Austin a safe community," read the social media post.

I went to get a pizza for lunch today. I was driving on a 2 lane road with a 30mph speed limit. This cop comes out of nowhere, is on my ass for a few seconds, no lights or anything. He floors it around me going at least 50mph or more through a school zone, with school in session 20mph zone on sign. Still no lights on or anything so not going to an emergency. I think to myself wow how reckless. I arrive at the pizza place about 3 mins later and I couldn't believe it. The gd cop that was driving crazy af was in there in line picking up a pizza ahead of me.

Lmao who the fuk is supposed to pull these cops over for speeding, making reckless passes in no passing zones and driving imprudently through active school zones? These cops will shoot people in the back and beat people during traffic stops, yet somehow they don't think they have to follow the laws themselves. It's that kind of hypocrisy and audacity that leads people to scrutinize, distrust and dislike the police. The double standard of everyone else has to follow the laws exactly but yet the cops can do whatever they want themselves without consequences. This thread and other similar threads around the internet prove this unequivocally.

NYC Detective Punches Bartender and Fires Gun after getting Rejected by Woman

Stephen Abreu with the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York was suspended without pay.

Frustrated that his attempts at seduction had failed, a New York narcotics detective picked up an orange and threw it in the direction of a woman who had rejected him inside a New York City bar, smashing a glass in front of her.

When a bartender ordered him to leave the Horses and Divorces bar in Brooklyn, the detective punched him in the face. And when a bouncer tackled him to throw him out, he pulled out a gun and fired twice, fortunately not striking anybody.

Stephen Abreu, an investigator with the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York, was arrested and charged with felony attempted murder, reckless endangerment in the first degree, attempted assault with intention to cause physical injury, menacing and several other misdemeanors.

Judge Hilary Gingold allowed Abreu to be released without bail despite prosecutors asking for a $50,000 bail.

                  According to Gothamist:

"Early Friday morning, Ana Yamel was dancing at Horses & Divorces, her local Williamsburg bar, when a stranger approached her on the dance floor. It was close to 3:00 a.m., and the Bedford Avenue hotspot had mostly emptied out.

'All of a sudden this guy is really, really close behind me,' recalled Yamel, a 32-year-old film director. 'I gave him a look like: what the f*¢k are you doing?'

Yamel left to sit at the other end of the bar with her two female friends, but noticed the man still staring at her. Moments later, he grabbed an orange out of a basket on the bar, she says, and chucked it in their direction. It smashed a glass in front of them.

'He was clearly very drunk and annoyed that we were ignoring him,' said Annie Pearlman, a 31-year-old graphic designer and friend of Yamel. 'It’s just another example of many of a man taking a rejection and turning it into violence.'"

Abreu has worked as an investigator with the prosecutor's office for four years where he investigates felony drug crimes for the city's five district attorneys. He is also listed as a trustee for the New York City Detective Investigators Association.

Witnesses told Gothamist that Abreu had walked into the bar with another man who took off running when his buddy began fighting with bar staff. Considering birds of a feather flock together, there is a strong chance that friend is also a cop.

No they need to get locked up when they break the law. They actually make too much for the little work they do. Cops in some places in CA for example make $75k+ entry level. Compare that to the men and women in our military putting their asses on the line in wars that make about $25k entry level.

I'm glad to see cops are starting to get locked up and sued more. That Dallas cop that killed that guy for no reason in his apartment got sentenced to prison a few weeks back. A St. Louis cop that killed another cop cause he was jealous she was penetrating their friend got sentenced to prison. Lock them crooked ass mfers up. Times are changing. All the negative publicity on tv and in threads like this one and others are leading to more informed juries, thus more accountability. That's the way it should be.

Docs: Addyston PD chief bought 64 machine guns, illegal rounds without village approval

ADDYSTON, Ohio — Over 2,200 pages of evidence against Addyston’s former police chief show a long trail of inappropriate spending, including using village funds to buy 64 machine guns over the last 2 1/2 years — all without the Village Council knowing.

“That boggles my mind,” said Addyston Village Councilman Jason Fry. “I mean, good God. That’s like one out of every 10 residents has a machine gun.”

Chief Dorain LaCourse resigned Sunday in the wake of allegations that he bought and sold weapons using his position at the police department without the Village Council’s approval, something Mayor Lisa Mear called “unauthorized and egregious conduct” at Monday's Village Council meeting.

“The resignation of Mr. LaCourse only avoided the inevitable termination after a full hearing based on Mr. LaCourse’s conduct, which violated clear village policy and laws,” Mear said.

Fry said LaCourse tried to buy two assault rifles several years ago, but Council ultimately denied his request.

“We’re thinking to ourselves — why do we need assault rifles in a town this small?” asked Fry.

According to a letter to LaCourse from Mear, LaCourse ordered weapons under his title as chief and inflated the number of officers in the department — sometimes between eight and 12 officers — to justify the spending. Some of the guns were purchased on gun broker and arms lists as being "new in the box" and not being used for gun demonstration by the police department.

Mark Doran, an investigator with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, also expressed concern when he inquired about over “$200,000 or more” in machine gun purchases in an email sent to LaCourse in October 2018.

“In short, this (Federal Firearms Licensee) has provided a letter indicating that Addyston PD has plans to purchase machine guns (some of which are belt fed currently in use by the U.S. Armed Forces — not a typical firearm used by police departments),” the email read. “My concern for the moment is that there has been a request for 64 machine guns for demonstrations over the past year, which is a rather large amount.”

LaCourse also purchased armor-piercing rounds that are illegal in the state of Ohio and unusable by Addyston police, according to the mayor’s letter. It goes on to say that LaCourse kept money contributed to the Village of Addyston after selling the weapons and did not follow proper procedures with purchase orders in any of the transactions.

“It’s very frustrating,” Fry said. “It’s a waste of our money that we don’t have in the first place.”

The council, which had previously placed LaCourse on suspension without pay, appointed Don McWhorter as interim chief on Monday.

WCPO 9 News has put in public records requests to obtain all 2,208 documents regarding the former chief's conduct.

This week, Officer Zach Stamper did what he could to make life a little easier for a local working man, according to FOX 4 KC.
Back in July, one of Stamper's coworkers got national attention for helping a mom who tried to shoplift diapers.
Samuel Meixueiro walks between five and six hours to work everyday as he has hit some hard times.
“Sometimes I have to sleep outside because I want to keep my job. That's just how it is,” Meixueiro said.
Last Tuesday, he cut through a park on his way to work and someone called police because they thought he looked suspicious.
“He shook my hand, we had a chat like I was talking to a friend of mine,” Officer Stamper said.
After hearing Meixueiro's story, he knew he had to help. Within a half hour, he came back with a bike and a duffel bag for his things.
“I cried. I couldn't believe it. Things are so hard for me right now. Any kind of help is just a blessing,” Meixueiro said. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“It made my day. It made my career,” Officer Stamper said.
The two exchanged numbers and plan to stay in contact.

Internal ‘Investigation’ Finds it Was ‘Proper’ to Taser, Tackle Grandma Over Asking for Warrant

Bradenton, FL — Barbara Pinkney of Bradenton, in Manatee County, Florida wanted to see the warrant from the cops who had come to her home attempting to arrest a man who she says did not live there. Because she was steadfast in her decision to see the warrant, Pinkney, a 70-year-old grandma who had never been in trouble with police before, was tasered multiple times, thrown to the ground and arrested. Now, after they “investigated themselves” the department has found that tasering the grandmother over asserting her rights was “proper.”

“The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said it found that the deputy’s level of applied force was lawful, proper and in accordance with agency policy,” the report from the internal investigation released last month reads.

This grandma is now facing charges of obstruction and battery on a law enforcement officer, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WFLA. To make matters that much worse, the incident unfolded at 7:30 a.m. on the day after Christmas — which also happens to be Pinkney’s birthday.

“We heard a knock at the door. Actually, there wasn’t a knock. I think they kicked the door. Bam! Bam! At the door,” Pinkney said.

According to WFLA, Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they came to serve an arrest warrant to Tevin Turner, Pinkney’s grandson, on violation of probation for carrying a concealed weapon. However, Pinkney says he doesn’t live there.

“When he was on probation he gave this as his address, but he wasn’t living here,” she said.

Pinkney tried to tell the deputies this information but they wanted nothing of it. That’s when this rights-flexing grandma demanded cops show her a warrant before coming in her home. When they refused to show her a warrant, Pinkney tried to close the door.

According to the investigation, the officer explained FSS 901.19 authorized him to search the residence without a warrant because he reasonably believed Turner to be inside, but Pinkney said, “No, you show me the warrant.”

The investigation notes that Florida Statute 901.19 states “if a peace officer fails to gain admittance after he or she has announced both authority and purpose in order to make an arrest by a warrant, the officer may use all necessary and reasonable force to enter any building or property where the person to be arrested is, or is reasonably believed to be.”

Video taken by her grandson’s wife captured what unfolded next. As this 70-year-old grandma attempts to close the door, a deputy barges in, grabbing her by the arm before tasering her. This grandma is then violently thrown to the ground where she is tasered two more times.

“I was just hollering. I was scared. I didn’t know what else to do. I was just hollering,” Pinkney said.

As WFLA reports, the probable cause affidavit shows Pinkney was hit three times with a stun gun in her “left arm,” her “back,” her “upper back,” and was held to the ground with the deputy’s “knee.”

For asking cops for a warrant and refusing to let them in the house unless they produced it, this grandma had her house raided, was attacked, kidnapped and charged — all of it, on her birthday.

Pinkney — who has never had a run-in with police — told local media that she is now scared to death of cops, so much so that she won’t even make eye contact with them.

“I don’t know. Whenever I see police I just try to not look at them,” Pinkney said through tears.

As WWSB reports, last month, national civil rights attorney Ben Crump and his co-counsel announced they were filing a notice of intent to sue the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Crump said deputies did not have the right to enter Pinkney’s home without a search warrant after she said no to their request.

Below is this most disturbing imagery showing what happens when you ask police for a warrant to come into your own home. As you watch the video, remember that everything police are seen doing is “proper.”

Elderly woman scammed out of money and stranded across country saved by cop's good deed

“This could have been anybody’s grandma,” said Officer Walicke.

An elderly woman who flew from Illinois to Arizona who was scammed out of her last dollars when she thought she was going to meet the man of her dreams was rescued by a police officer’s kind gesture.
It all began when the elderly woman decided to spend her last money on flying from her home town in Illinois to Gilbert, Arizona, to meet a man that she had been talking to for the past year, and who she called her boyfriend, with the expectation that they would soon get married, according to ABC News' Phoenix affiliate KNXV.

When she arrived, however, it turned out that she had been scammed and was left all penniless and all alone in Arizona with no friends or family to help her.

Not knowing what to do, the woman went to a Walmart and sat in the Subway restaurant on site for almost 24 hours before authorities were alerted and Officer Adam Walicke stepped in.
“This could have been anybody’s grandma,” said Officer Walicke. “She had flown in from Illinois this past Friday, and when she got to the airport she had the expectation that she was going to be meeting a man and having a relationship, and a new start at life.”

Officer Walicke even said the woman told him she was sending the man money by gift cards, which, according to the federal Trade Commission (FTC), is a telltale sign of a scammer.
“Gift cards are a popular and convenient way to give someone a gift. They’re also a popular way for scammers to steal money from you,” says the FTC’s website. “That’s because gift cards are like cash: if you buy a gift card and someone uses it, you probably cannot get your money back. Gift cards are for gifts, not payments. Anyone who demands payment by gift card is always a scammer.”
After Walicke heard her story and speaking with her son back in Illinois, he knew that he had to help her.

“I just decided that the right thing to do, to get her home so that she could thrive, would be to just take her to Sky Harbor, walk up to the American Airlines counter and buy her a one-way ticket back to Chicago,” said Walicke.
And that is exactly what he did.
Thanks to Officer Walicke’s good deed, the woman arrived back home safely in Illinois where her son even picked her up from the airport.

There are over 18,000 Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies around the United States, and it is estimated that there are between 750,000 and 850,000 sworn officers.

Take those numbers in any occupation and you will always have a percentage that are not doing what they are supposed to do.

Military , Police ,Fire and Rescue , Doctors ,Lawyers..etc etc etc

So why don't you snowflakes post about the military ? Or any other occupations . ?

The POS jackboot didn't even have his bodycam turned on so it's a good thing that some of the people watching incident took out their phones and recorded it. It's dirty pigs like these that just continue to earn the hate and further the divide between citizens and cops.

Miami Cop Escalates Interaction with Rapper, Arresting him for Hanging up Flyers

The rapper had permission by store management to hang up the flyer but the cop had a point to prove.

Not satisfied with a man complying with his orders to remove a flyer he had hung up in the flyer-infested neighborhood of Wynwood, a Miami police officer stepped out of his car and demanded to see the man's identification.

But the rapper, Landon Geovonni Kinchelow whose stagename is Geovonniex, told the cop he did not have his identification since he was not driving. He was also reluctant to provide his name believing the cop had no right to detain him.

The cop, P. Nava, then told him not to leave because he was calling for backup. Kinchelow decided to walk away anyway which was when Nava shoved him against the wall.

In a video recorded by his friends, Kinchelow asks repeatedly why he was being detained, pointing out that Nava did not even have his body camera on which is pretty typical of cops in South Florida who enjoy a lack of legitimate oversight.

"You are being very aggressive, turn around," Nava says as he aggressively manhandles him, already setting the stage for the lies he planned to write in his report.

"It's going to go really bad if you don't turn around," Nava tells him a few seconds later.

Within minutes, an additional seven cop cars pull up to ensure a simple code violation was treated as a violent crime. After all, modern-day policing is all about escalating every interaction to the point of death, if necessary, the Constitution be damned. And we, as citizens, are expected to accept this or be labeled "cop haters."

The truth is, even though the Miami Police Department has a high rate of minority police officers, it is no different than police departments across the country who arrest black people at a much higher rate than white people or Hispanics, according to a 2018 ACLU study.

And that appears to be the case here because Wynwood, the neighborhood where this took place, is a renowned entertainment district whose graffiti-painted walls are littered with flyers promoting local concerts. Even employees of the store where Kinchelow had posted his flyer told police they did not have a problem with it.

And the matter should have ended as soon as Kinchelow removed the flyer but the cop's ego came into play when the rapper did not bow down to his authority by providing his name.

According to the Miami New Times:

"I'm very good friends with the owners of the stores there," Kinchelow tells New Times. "I always get permission before I put up flyers on someone's store. And anywhere else in the neighborhood is just a wall. I figured since Wynwood is known for artist expression, it was a perfect place for us to be. We had a whole team of us, maybe eight people."

Kinchelow says that while he was tacking a flyer to a wall on NW 24th Street, an MPD cop drove up and used the cruiser's loudspeaker to order him to take it down. The hip-hop artist says that by the time he removed the piece of paper, the officer was standing behind him and wouldn't let him leave.

"He continued to ask me for my ID, but I said I didn’t bring my wallet out of the car since I don’t need my wallet when I'm putting up flyers," Kinchelow recounts. "At one point he asked me, 'Do you own this building?' I thought it was a rhetorical question, so I didn't answer. But I think me not answering upset him more. So then he tried to turn me around — but he's not strong at all — and I just kept asking him to take his hands off me and saying I could turn around myself."

Over the course of the five-minute video clip, the officers never tell Kinchelow the reason he's being detained. In the end, they push him into the back of a cruiser and drive him away.

"I'm more upset about the force than anything else," Kinchelow says. "The officer was like stuttering and shaking. He was scared. I don’t know why he was scared, but he could barely get on the cuffs. But jail is a process I don't wish on anybody. It's really cold, and it's a lot of waiting."

Kinchelow was charged with criminal mischief and resisting an officer without violence and had to post a $1,000 bond. He said it was the first time he had been arrested.

"I've never even so much as had a ticket, and my first time in jail was for promoting my own show," he told the Miami New Times.

Did you ever think about that dumbfuk? The fire dept doesn't shoot Americans in the back. Doctors don't beat women with a baton. The military doesn't tase elderly Americans. You know who does though? Private security is 1000x better than regular police. Why do you think all the wealthy celebrities and vips use private security to protect them? Cause regular police are inept and worthless. That cop that sat around and watched while that Stoneman Douglas school shooting happened in FL is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. What a fukin pos coward that cop was and is. And so is every other cop that doesn't call him out. I haven't seen one cop call that coward out. Isn't that strange how cops always stick together even when they're wrong?

WATCH: Tyrant Cop Attacks Good Samaritan Who Helped Crash Victim for ‘Smiling At Him’

Albuquerque, NM — The taxpayers of Albuquerque were put on notice this week that they will be held liable for the actions of one of their finest after he was seen on video attacking an innocent Native American man in front of his daughter — for smiling at him. The American Civil Liberties Union is suing New Mexico State Police and will undoubtedly win as the entire infuriating incident was captured on video.

The incident unfolded last year as Dametrio Maldonado was travelling to an event to volunteer with his daughter when he noticed a single car accident on the side of the road. Being the kind gentleman that he is, Maldonado stopped to help the victim.

“There was a young lady that was sitting on the beside the car crying profusely so I pulled up and stopped and told my daughter to get out and see if she could help her,” Maldonado said.

The good Samaritan then did what he thought he was supposed to do: he called the cops. Instead of helping, however, when the cops showed up, so did the tyranny.

As the video shows, instead of thanking him for helping, State Police officer Sondre Loberg showed up and immediately yelled at Maldonado to move his vehicle. Maldonado was obliging the officer’s request but noted that he was waiting for his daughter to walk back to the car. He smiled and told the tyrant cop that he was moving. But this cop apparently hates smiles.

“He yelled at me to move out of the way so I just nodded and smiled, you know. That’s just me—I smile,” Maldonado said. “He got enraged when I smiled.”

When Maldonado moved his vehicle, Loberg immediately pulled the good Samaritan over and all hell broke loose.

Remember, Maldonado had done nothing wrong, had been polite, and was actually the hero in this situation for helping a crash victim. His good deeds and niceness, however, were apparently too much for this tyrant to handle.

As the officer’s dash cam shows, he immediately starts berating the innocent father in front of his daughter, demanding his license and insurance. The cop then removes Maldonado from his vehicle.

“Step in front of my unit. Right in front of it. Put your hands on there, both of them,” Loberg is heard saying on the video.

This tyrant cop then proceeds to shove the innocent father down, assaulting him, as he forced handcuffs on him.

“Complete confusion, you know? You’re like, why is this guy so enraged and why is he yelling at me?” Maldonado said.

Loberg then accuses Maldonado of drinking and throws him in the back of the cruiser. For smiling at him, this cop held an innocent man in his cruiser for over 20 minutes as he questioned his daughter. Once he realized he had nothing to charge the innocent father with, he was forced to let him go, but it was much to his chagrin.

“You’re looking at me with a grin on your face and I don’t take that as politeness, I take that as a big f**k you, you understand?” said Loberg.

“I took the handcuffs off because I’m giving you a break, but if you keep running your mouth I’m going to change my mind here,” this tyrant cop adds.

Just like that, this officer — who people will claim ‘protects’ society — had assaulted and kidnapped a good Samaritan for smiling at him. The next time someone tells you, “if you don’t do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about,” show them this article. You can be the hero in a situation and be completely polite and even cheerful, and the tyrant class will still violate your rights.

Despite video of this very unsettling and unlawful incident, tyrant Loberg is still on regular duty and never received so much as a slap on the wrist for his violent actions. The taxpayers will be held accountable instead.

“This kind of incident where he’s asking Mr. Maldonado if you’re drunk reflects in based on everything that we know about police misconduct,” explained Preston Sanchez with the ACLU. “Based on everything we know about interactions between community and law enforcement. A racial bias toward Maldonado. Based on the color of his skin. Based on how he looks. Based on the geographic location at the time of the stop.”

Delhi riots: 'Hero cop' who braved a mob to save lives

An Indian policeman is being hailed as a hero after he braved rioting mobs to save families during days of religious violence in the capital Delhi.
Riots in the city broke out on Sunday, killing 39 people and injuring more than 200.
Neeraj Jadaun, a superintendent of police in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh state, told the BBC's Vikas Pandey that he was patrolling a border checkpoint on 25 February when he heard sounds of gunfire coming from Karawal Nagar in Delhi - just 200m (650ft) away from him.
He saw a mob of 40-50 people setting vehicles on fire when one of them jumped into a house with a petrol bomb. At that point, Mr Jadaun decided to break with traditional police protocol and made a split-second decision to cross the state border into Delhi.
In India, police officers need explicit permission to cross state borders.
"I chose to cross. I was willing to go alone despite being aware of the danger and the fact that it was beyond my jurisdiction. Those were the most terrifying 15 seconds of my life. Thankfully, the team followed me, and my seniors also supported me when I informed them later," he said.

"It was dangerous as we were outnumbered and the rioters were armed. We first tried to negotiate with them and when that failed, we told them that police would open fire. They retreated but seconds later, they threw stones at us and we also heard gunshots," he added.
However, Mr Jadaun and his team held their positions and kept pushing back until the rioters finally left.
Richi Kumar, a reporter with the Hindi daily Amar Ujala, described Mr Jadaun's decision as the "bravest act" he had ever seen.
"The situation was very dangerous. The rioters were fully armed and they were not ready to listen anybody. I can describe them as bloodthirsty. They were throwing stones at the police but Mr Jadaun did not back down. There was real danger of policemen being shot at by rioters," he told the BBC.

The violence first broke out in north-east Delhi between protesters for and against a controversial citizenship law.
But they have since taken on communal overtones.
Mr Jadaun said the rioters he saw had come prepared for arson.
"The area had many shops with stocks of bamboo. A fire would have engulfed the whole area and had that been allowed to happen, the death toll in Delhi would have been much higher."
But, Mr Jadaun is uncomfortable about being hailed as a hero.
"I am not a hero. I have taken oath to protect any Indian in danger. I was just doing my duty because I wasn't willing to let people die under my watch. We were in a position to intervene and we did that," he added.

Similar small acts of heroism - of Hindus and Muslims standing together - have also begun to emerge.
Subhash Sharma, from Ashok Nagar, one of the worst-affected areas, described how he ran to help after mobs set a mosque on fire.
"There were thousands of people in the mob and there were only a handful in the mosque. As soon as I saw it set on fire, I switched on the water pump in my house and ran there with a hose," Mr Sharma told BBC Hindi.
Murtaza, a man from the same neighbourhood, said that he wanted to flee the area, but his Hindu neighbours told him not to leave.
"They assured us they would not let anybody harm us," he said.

BBC Hindi's Faisal Mohammed also spoke to two neighbours - a Hindu and a Muslim - from the Vijay park area in Maujpur, one of the areas worst-affected by the violence.
The two described how they rallied their neighbours to chase away a mob that had been burning vehicles and shattering windows in the vicinity.
"The next day we shut the main road and people from the neighbourhood gathered together and sat outside," one of the men, Jamaluddin Saifi, said.
Residents there also set up a "peace committee" - made up of both Hindus and Muslims - who went from house to house telling people not to believe rumours and to keep children inside.
As the Indian capital struggles to pick up the pieces, it is these stories that are giving residents some hope that life can eventually go back to normal.

HOMETOWN HEROES: NYPD cop helps city’s sick and disabled kids live a dream by being officers for a day

Once upon a time, Anthony Passaro pictured himself putting sleeper holds on WWE stars like John Cena, the Big Show and the Undertaker.

Today, the NYPD cop is wrestling smiles from sick and disabled children throughout the five boroughs — and there’s no other fight he’d rather be in.

“It’s the most rewarding work I’ve done,” Passaro, 36, said. “I don’t even think of it as work.”

Passaro is the driving force behind NYPD Hope, a community outreach program for sick and disabled children, some of who are facing terminal illnesses. Inspired by the Make A Wish Foundation, Passaro and his team, under the guidance of Community Affairs Chief Nilda Hofmann and Deputy Inspector Paul Valerga, make these children police officers for a day.

The kids are given uniforms and get to rub elbows with NYPD brass before going on a day out where they can do anything they want, from driving a Harbor boat to flying in a helicopter to hanging out with the department’s K-9 unit.

But the kids’ involvement with the police department extends beyond their one-day shift. Passaro, members of the NYPD’s Community Affairs Division and neighborhood coordination officers from the child’s local precinct routinely check in on them to see how they’re doing and if they or the parents need any assistance.

The officers also follow the kids through their treatments and medical visits, even giving the little fighters a “walk out” salute when they leave a particularly hard hospital stay.

“We just don’t do the one day and that’s it,” Passaro, a seven-year member of the department said. “We create a support system for the kids and their families throughout the year.”

Currently, the NYPD Hope program keep tabs on about 50 local children in their network. Two kids join the program each month, Passaro said.

Passaro’s efforts in reaching out to the city’s most fragile hasn’t gone unnoticed. As a thank you, the department has recommended him for a Daily News Hometown Heroes award.

"Officer Anthony Passaro is someone that we can all learn something from if we took a page out of his book,” Hofmann said. “His commitment to young people goes exceedingly beyond the call of duty. The memories that he helps to create for them and their families have a most lasting effect and they will forever be a part of his legacy."

The big-hearted cop was once known as the Brooklyn Bulldog as he and his friends tried to launch wrestling careers.

But he and his friends turned their love of pile driving opponents into acts of service: they turned local wrestling matches into fundraisers for youth programs and neighborhood Catholic schools struggling to keep open.

When he became a cop, his altruistic spirit brought him to the NYPD Community Affairs Division and ultimately the Hope Program.

To Passaro, helping sick and disabled children is a two-way street.

“It’s nice we do this for the kids, but no one realizes what these kids do for us,” he said. “They teach us a lesson in strength and courage and how to overcome obstacles and persevere.”

“They teach us lessons you can’t learn in a textbook or on a YouTube channel,” he said. “I can YouTube how to fix my sink, I can’t YouTube how to be courageous.”

Once upon a time, Anthony Passaro pictured himself putting sleeper holds on WWE stars like John Cena, the Big Show and the Undertaker. Today, the NYPD cop is wrestling smiles from sick and disabled…

                                                            By JOSEPH HOSEY

An off-duty Joliet cop charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence in connection with a crash that killed her passenger — who was an off-duty Berwyn police officer — was cleared to legally drive again after a judge lifted a suspension of her license.
Officer Erin Zilka, 36, was arrested and charged with DUI after she ran a Dodge Durango into a box truck stopped on Interstate 55 north of Route 30.
Berwyn Police Officer Charles Schauer, 33, was riding in the passenger seat of the Durango. Schauer was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Zilka's attorney, Jeff Tomczak, said Wednesday he did not know the nature of the Zilka and Schauer's relationship. Tomczak also said he did not know where Zilka and Schauer were coming from or where they were going at the time of the 6 a.m. Jan. 19 crash.
The disabled box truck had been involved in a crash with a Nissan Titan pickup truck a short time before Zilka drove the Durango into it, police said.

Tomczak also said he did not know where Zilka and Schauer were coming from or where they were going at the time of the 6 a.m. Jan. 19 crash.

Regular people, who aren't cops, wouldn't be granted these special privileges for driving drunk and killing someone, but because she wears a costume and a badge she receives special treatment for breaking the law.

Former Llano police chief loses appeal of 2018 jury convictions

AUSTIN (KXAN) — When Kevin Ratliff walked through the doors of the Llano County courthouse on Jan. 11, he made a stop at the security screening like any other citizen. Ratliff wasn’t able to flash a police badge and walk right through this time.

That’s because Ratliff lost his ability to police in 2018 after a jury convicted him of three of the highest-level misdemeanors under Texas law for the crimes of: two counts of official oppression and one count of tampering with a government record.

Ratliff was one of four Llano officers charged with unlawfully arresting a man in May 2017. The man, Cory Nutt, had yelled at Officer Grand Harden for speeding through his neighborhood, according to court records. Harden later showed up at Nutt’s door—along with Officer Aimee Shannon, Sergeant Jared Latta and Chief Ratliff.

Body camera video obtained by KXAN shows the four trying to convince Nutt to come out of his home. The video also shows the officers threaten Nutt with a taser and at one point in the video, Ratliff threatens to call Nutt’s supervisor.

Officers threatened to arrest Nutt throughout the video; accusing him of being drunk in public. The video shows Nutt was inside his home during the entire incident.

Ratliff eventually walked inside Nutt’s home—without a warrant—and stood behind him. Nutt eventually walked out of his home and the officers cuffed him and took him to jail. Ratliff also accused Nutt of resisting arrest because he refused to walk out of his home.

The Llano County grand jury indicted all four officers with various charges connected to the Nutt incident. Ratliff was later convicted of each charge. Harden and Latta were also convicted in separate jury trials.

Former officer Aimee Shannon has not been convicted and her official oppression charge remains pending with no trial date set.

In August 2018, Ratliff appealed his conviction claiming there was “insufficient” evidence to sustain his convictions. Ratliff also claimed the trial judge made a mistake when issuing the jury charge and defining a police officer as “a public servant.”

Ratliff — convicted of tampering with a government record — also argued that it was Officer Harden who prepared the police report from the Nutt incident and it was Harden who omitted the details of Ratliff going into Nutt’s home without the legal authority to do so.

Prosecutors argued by initialing Harden’s police report detailing what happened during the call, Ratliff agreed to omitting that detail from the official government record.

The Ratliff appeal asked for each of his convictions to be overturned.

Ratliff’s side argued he had a right to go into Nutt’s home without a warrant because he “…witnessed Cory Nutt committing the offense of resisting arrest, for what he could have reasonably believed was a felony, in his presence or within his view, he would have also reasonably believed he was authorized to arrest him without a warrant,” Ratliff’s side wrote in the August 2018 appeal.

On Feb. 14, the Third Court of Appeals ended the former chief’s pursuit of having his criminal convictions undone. The court published a 39-page order denying Ratliff’s appeal and upheld the three guilty verdicts.

“Having overruled all of Ratliff’s issues on appeal, we affirm the district court’s judgments of conviction,” the order stated.

Only one of the six justices on the appeals court sided with Ratliff — but only on one point. “While I join most of the Court’s opinion, I cannot agree that this trial court’s erroneous instruction, over objection, relieving the State of proving one element of the offense, is harmless,” Justice Chari L. Kelly wrote in her order.

Kelly believed the jury charge defining a police officer as a public servant was enough of an error to send Ratliff’s case back to the trial court.

Ratliff could appeal further. Ratliff declined to comment when contacted by KXAN. Instead, Ratliff’s attorney responded to say “The case is on-going and it would be inappropriate for either him or me to comment,” Attorney David Schulman wrote in an email to KXAN.

Schulman added that he has not yet made a decision on appealing the case further.
