SBR should grow a lot in the coming years.
Will internet sports forums even be needed by next year due to legalized betting

#38Even if it weren't in front you, good job on the critical thinking and the ability to make the leap that this thread is about.
But, it was right in front of you.
When I say exchanges, I mean sportsbooks, in case you had some other thing in mind.Comment -

Both of which are still predominately illegal to US players.
SBR in a position to grow overall here, that includes the Forum.Comment -

#40I don’t think you understand how big the top sports books are at SBR it is absolutely staggering and a lot of it is not USA
The pool they have from all over the globe is just too hard to compete with where legal US shops only have one state
Sites like sbr only going to get bigger not smaller
They are not worried about a couple hundred people from each state not playing there anymore my God you guys are real Rookies
The First Month Of New Jersey Sports Betting: $16 Million In Wagers, $3.5 Million In Revenue

#44There are sooo many reasons Offshore will still take in U.S. bettors.
Only a few states are offering legal betting so far.
Some will never even get around to it.
The bettors in states that dont offer it will still play.
Also consider that legalization brings the hobby into the spotlight.
With that comes new players.
New players eventually find offshore offering -105 and a $1,000 bonus while the legal book offers -110 and nada.
It's tit for tat.
Some players will prefer the conveniece of playing local & legal.
While others will prefer the much better bargain.
With legalization across states comes the ease & ability to move funds.
I assure you Offshore books will find a way to take advantage of this as time goes on.Comment -

#56I wouldn't be surprised that it turned to Saloon because posters felt the need to troll with made up shit and attack posters with made up shit.
This thread lost credibility with certain posters playing games and not even reading the thread or even the original post.

Don't bother responding, I won't see the post as I'm done with your desperate attempt to troll. I guess you need to be told that beforehand.Comment -

#59still its a circular argument. people gambling in the u.s. wont be coming to sbr forum for help with issues which is how many people find out about the forum in the first place. how can sbr have any kind of conversation with u.s. related state stationed sportsbooks, there will be no back and forth going on thereComment -

#61For the poster who said that live sportsbooks wont offer credit??? Well wrong!!
Hell I get credit at Harrahs and the Venetian and other places. I can use that credit at the sportsbook too. I just have to settle the balance within 30 daysComment -

#63Some of the top sportsbooks have been out of the US market for years now and still thriving. I haven't used a sportsbook that accepts US players in 5+ years and always get paid in 10-30 minutes. The serious US players have Pinnacle agents and won't be leaving that to pay -110 through legal books. In any event, ASIAN money keeps casinos and sportsbooks pumping.
The sportsbooks that will suffer the most are the small random ones that people come on to SBR with complaints. Sort of like small cryptos got wiped out when the prices crashed.Comment -

#66You don't need to worry so much Rudy. I haven't seen SBR even trying to generate referral income in 5+ years, let alone relying on it these days. SBR is way past that point.
You are almost as far off in your assessment of SBR's future prospects as you are trying to tell mods what should be salooned or not.
Who owns more than 50% of all search engine traffic relating to US sports betting?
Who do you think might want to buy some of that?.Comment -

You've called me all sorts of names and never had a problem from me over it!
Never sure if you lie on purpose or are genuinely a bit delusional Rudy
Anyways... point is, if you think about the new market and SBRs position, you'd be less bullish about the chances of dancing on it's grave anytime soon..Comment -
