up not wanting a war. He was elected to get us out of wars, not start them.

Only reason Russia got involved was to stop the 4 or 5 other groups of Asssholes like Nusra and other AQ and ISIS franchises that flooded in to help their cause. You get this pretty risky picture in your head by just reading Assad and Putin vs Obama without knowing the reality of who it is Obama sided with on the ground to do the bidding and it backfired...big time. Russia chose the right side for long term stability in the region. Obama did not. That's not an endorsement of Assad so let's get that clear but lesser of two evils.
