Yes, if it's the snob appeal and exclusivity you're after, then there is no substitute for the real thing. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a submariner several years ago when they sold for $3000 CAD.

Oh don't get me wrong, the 9937 indeed is a very nice watch! I agree 100% there.

Rolex is not a snob appeal. It's a great investment. Ask anyone that owns a Rolex. It's worth more than they bought it for if they've owned it for more than 10 years. And it still works like new.

I have never done / been interested in the bike thing. They look like fun and would even be convienent for me cuz I like downtown... But I just can't bring myself to do it.
