HBO Show "True Detective"

I haven't seen the episodes from last night yet, but the first two were outstanding. Matthew McConaughey should get major Emmy consideration for his role. As you said though it really clicks on every level.

Dude totally, and yeah last night's was great again. McConaughey is awesome as well as his character. Cohle is a certified badass.

I have the 1st 3 taped on DVR - I just finished the 1st one and it was awesome! I am clicking play on the 2nd now.

I read there will only be 6 episodes? Then they switch actors?

I've never seen another show as good as The Wire.

People talked so much about how good Breaking Bad was supposed to be.

I saw Breaking Bad and all I can say is Avon Barksdale would have beat the shit out of Walter White.

There will never be another show like The Wire.

haha i know i love the Wire.

i dont care much for the police or politicians but i love seeing the scenes with the thugs on there.

i am about to start season 4. Stringer just got killed so my current favorite character is Slim Charles.

8 episodes. but yeah, they're making it an anthology series. so there might be more seasons, but new actors, new setting, new murder. just each one will be its own story and stuff. I think it's a cool idea, it lets them get big actors with talent that don't want to be locked into multiple years of a show, and they can make unique and interesting storylines for each season.

were the 8th wonder of the world after they came out from under that shirt.

I just set that episode to only delete from the DVR when I do it manually. I have a feeling I may need to revisit that scene at a later date.

oh thats cool 8 episodes (better than 6) I do like the idea to switch up the actors and main plot line keeping the show fresh

House of Lies and Banshee going on right now have my #1 and #2 votes but True Detective is hanging in there, a little drawn out with the interviews a bit but I think after seeing the tattooed guy with a knife and gas mask walking around in his underwear to end last nights episode......next week might get interesting

I watched the first 2 episodes and the girl in the 2nd episode has the best

of all time they're awesome. As for the show I wanted to like it but I found it incredibly slow and boring. I have the 3rd episode on my pvr and I'm on the fence if I should continue watching.

I think you fukkers hyped it up too much for me. I was expecting the best fukkin thing on tv in the past decade.

I thought it was ok. Good but not great, I will keep watching.

Naked girl in episode two was fantastic.
