Whats your thoughts on the new Trio ?
Of course people are going to be very high on this team, I can't blame anybody for thinking they should be favorites to win the east. Absolutely great talent on paper, but that is on paper. While James gets a generally younger cast to join this season in comparison to the veteran-heavy Heat team of years past, there a huge issues that could keep this team from being successful. The history of injuries to Irving, Varejao, and Love are something to be worried about if you are rooting for Cavs. The big x-factor is the new coach David Blatt who comes in with quite the resume, multiple euroleague cups and titles. It remains to be seen if his euro influences on the game set him apart from other coaches' philosophies in the NBA, and whether his style of play is conductive towards team chemistry. That said, the chemistry and understanding the sets Blatt wants them to play will take a learning curve, longer than in Miami. Personally, I would not bank on this team to make it past the 1st round in year one. Not to name names (Okay, Thompson, Irving, and Waiters), but they have some personnel issues and maturity issues that could hinder the progress of this team. However the bright side is they could make for great trade assets down the road to the right buyer. Rumor is Ray Allen may wait until the signing deadline after all-star break to join this team so he doesn't have to play through an entire season. In my opinion, the Cavs will generally be overvalued in lines to start the season while still looking lost at times in Blatt's system. The 1st few weeks of the regular season may have plenty of fade opportunities for Cavs. Don't forget Cavs have been projected at about 40 wins for the past two seasons, and coming up way short. Even last year, I thought they should be an 8th seed with that pornstar motivation (http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-...-probably-nsfw). Even when the Hawks and Knicks were begging them to take that 8th spot at the end of the season they faltered in games they should've won by 20.

No matter how stupid you think someone or an idea is, there is always the opportunity to learn and grow.

I called the Irving,James, and Love trio way b4 it actually happened,
so now that it has came to be I am excited to see how this team plays
Not really a fan of them, but by no means am I hating on this team either
Make a good point with the new coach bringing in with him a dif philosophy
then a lot of "normal" NBA coaches might not possess in their teaching arsenal
Lebron admitted himself that the Bulls were a far better team then them going into this season.
He said all the reasoning for that comment lies in the fact that the Bulls are a gelled team and Cavs
are all completely new to one anothers playing styles, personalities, and what not.
Not sure where Ray Allen's game will come into play with this team
since they already have Mike Miller and James Jones.
Dude you realize that the Cavs over under season wins this year is set at almost 60 wins
Its like I laugh, then am too chicken shit to bet the under.... no way I play the over though.
Porn Star Ava Devine On Cleveland Cavs: 'If They Make The Playoffs, I will Bang Them All'
adult film star Ava Devine — whose IMDB page includes 170 credits for roles in films like Pull My Hair And Call Me Stupid 2, Gangland Cream Pie, Meat Holes, and Blackzilla Is Splittin' That Shitter
"I like them so much, I want to have sex with all of them," said the 2010 Urban X Award nominee for Best Anal Performer.
"If they make the playoffs, I will bang them all, and bring a girlfriend." "I think they're probably pretty pent up, that's why they can't win," the star of this year's Anal Buffet 9 declared.
The final thing she was quoted as saying was.
" I can save the Cavs with my vagina "

good sports oriented movie right here, that most people prolly have not seen
In my opinion, it is not really worth it to tie up a wager for over 6 months when a lot can happen during that period to screw that bet that couldn't be foreseen. This is especially true with something that is only going to pay you close to even money. Futures do require handicappers to think in the long term, but when I do it I look for pure value.
This is all I have tied up in NBA futures right now:
Denver Nuggets to win NW +2500
New Orleans Pelicans to win SW +4000
Mike Budenholzer Coach of the Year +25000
Quin Synder Coach of the Year +2500
Dante Exum Rookie of the Year +2000
Futures to me are just shopping for value when it comes along. For instance taking the Nuggets at +2500 right as the Durant news was released but it was still on the board. Now most places have it at +1500. Still tons of value there in my opinion IF Denver stays healthy. Some people may have good handicapping methods at futures that look well beyond the stat sheets, however I find it best to pick my spots in the regular season at -110ish odds.
