I got this series @ the solid price of -105 @ linesmaker for Royals for almost 2 units
Royals 8-0 in playoffs and Giants(amazingly enough) going for their 3rd World Series title in 5 years
What defines this series for me is the pitching and speed.
Buster Posey is a fundamentally sound catcher, there no doubt in that...
but he simply does not possess the arm to stop these thieving Royals from imposing their will
I guess the reason why the speed factor is a huge deal to me is when you consider
that same trait on the opposing team , the Giants are very slow.
Pence is not slow but you cannot consider him a base stealing threat either.
Blanco is fast but will he get on base enough for it to matter at all ?
the starting 4 for both teams are pretty even overall, basically a wash in that category so
where it stands out for me is the Royals ability to shut down the Giants magic in the late innings.

7th inning.

Season ERA = 1.00 Post Season ERA = 0.96

The Closer

Season ERA = 1.44 Post Season ERA = 1.13

I know the Giants can pull off some magical oddities and a solid bullpen themselves
but each American League team they have played has had more offensive fire power then the Giants do .
Im hoping these pitchers magical seasons/postseasons can continue for a few more games
