Sac +3 (-110) x15 units as an opening trade.

Not going to play back test here and not even going to add other metrics, let's get this market, with patience and discipline.

patience and discipline, is that what is needed when trading tonight? does that mean there is a human element to the trading or is there strictly defined parameters which drives the decision-making? it's harder to exercise patience and discipline on the spur of the moment compared with pregame wagering with more time to think.

Patience and discipline means that when we lose a 15 unit and then a 14 unit bet, we have the patience and discipline to stick the the strictly defined parameters which drives the decision making.

It also applies to us waiting for the parameters to trigger before trying to jump in the market. In that regard, I have not brought into the discussion other parameters that drive the decision making.

If the market turns and we get a signal before the 15 games, this set of trades could be costly. It could happen.

We've gone 43 games since the last signal, I mentioned before there were factors like those, but I didn't get into them yet.

In the end patience and discipline almost always revolves around money management and the ability to stick to the parameters. If we're relying on patience and discipline just to make judgement calls, we could get hot, but eventually we will get burned. Very few are able to sustain winning with strictly subjective style betting.

It was nice to get a trigger after two straight losses, but it doesn't guarantee anything.

Here's some subjectivity about the markets, the line moved from Sac-3 to -2, which ordinarily would make us feel ok.

But consider this like leading early as what they bring happens in both the markt place and court of play.

I hate leading early.

Soooo, I don't vary bets. I preach conservative, same risk, all the time money management. Yet, I'm willing to ready 15 units of another roll on a play in which I don't even know who's playing, yet.

the sports betting market can be timed. bookmakers are predictable and drive results when the market unfolds a certain way.

The books take positions and they are in it for the long haul, that's for sure.

But because of all the other reasons bettors lose, books don't even need the long haul, they get their percentage yearly.

Also, things have always sort of been volatile, but I think something is different, more shake out like, since the US legal betting wave hit.

Seems like it.
