There have been 76 plays in the KVB MLB Contrarian Fund.

Doves, notice the over the low number of 7 and Under the high number of 11.5 failed here. I never discuss that type of analysis because those are so nuts and bolts anymore. I use metrics based on these things, and have for so long, that it's like using a calculator for long division and posting it without ever explaining the long division by hand first.

Best way I can put it. Just some food for thought as these are things that don't change from year to year, unlike players, etc.

I liked that Under, but the two funds are forced to buy.

That's important because the results they obtain gauge the market.

Those CFL sharp forecast plays are just that, initial buys following discipline. The CFL analysis often warns when it could fail, even though I know the fund owns it.

That first CFL thread was all about weeding out the losers, using an analysis of the market.

One hope for my posting is that you can use it along side your own work, even if that means you use it to find the fade. Think about it.

Tonight I did not offer the fade of the forecast in the CFL thread because it was just not there as a read, with metrics, or any expected value.

Doves, what about those market calls? What about those plays outside the target circle? Should I post them so we can track them? I won't loosen the constraints of the contrarian fund, but that doesn't mean we couldn't put out other sets to track, with other constraints.

Track your bets and why you made them, things can be revealed.

We could split the Contrarian Fund into separate Totals and moneylines as well.

Tracking the market calls, on the other hand, might be more than the internet can handle; not because of a win rate, but because of the story I have to tell. I've told them before, buried in this thread in football and basketball and hidden under the guise of the CFL. I sure wish you had been following, real time, those CFL writings since season one. Man do I wish that.
