Well, according to that guy, the world WILL be around May 22nd. In fact, it will be around for about 7 years after that. He is saying that the rapture will occur on May 21st. After the rapture will be the tribulation, which is pretty much 7 years of hell on earth. Where the Anti-Christ, and eventually the Devil himself, will reign on earth.

I do not agree with him that it is going to happen that soon, but I am just pointing out that even he does not think the world is going to end.

We should put less emphasis on trying to guess when the last day is and be more mindful of our place in the afterlife. The knowledge of when yomal qiyamah is only with the creator Allah glorified and exalted. It is better to not dwell on this and spend our efforts in the path of our lord. Please God be repentant and be steadfast in your worship and wait. We too are waiting.

You need to learn that there is but one savior. his name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He came to the earth and performed miracle, and left the world as the perfect sacrifice for us to get into heaven. There is but one truth, and that is Jesus is coming soon. You would be suprirsed at the actual number of nut cases that buy into garbage like this. The number grows every day. These crazies are much like the Arab crazies who join Al Queda and other terrorist groups like that in the fact that their lives are basically empty and they need to find a cause to fight for, or believe in. With the advent of the internet, these groups have a very easy way to state their beliefs, no matter how insanely stupid they may be. Most of these people are the losers in life. They have no wealth to speak of. They have nothing to live for, so they hope to die, either in one massive sweep, allegedly to occur on 5/21, or in an act that will net them 72 virgins or whatever the number is in Islamic heaven. Their styles are different, but their mentalities are in fact, very similar.

its funny because the logic doesnt make sense. if all of a sudden all these people get raptured away or disappear then obviously God is real and Jesus is his son. so why would the world turn into anarchy and such. the only thing it would do was turn more people in to Christians who will go to heaven when they die. they also get to live longer than the people zoomed away. the only problem is america would be dismantled but most other countries would be fine.

Wrong. The basic idea of the Family Radio thing is that the believers and the repentant will be taken to Heaven on Saturday and the rest of us will be left to toil in hell on earth for exactly five months before the world ends on October 21 and we're brought to hell to spend the rest of eternity. It might not agree with the general idea of a 7-year tribulation, but that is what the Family Radio followers believe. The glaring inconsistency is that if you believe in a Christian religion then to think that you can predict the end of the world is ridiculous. If you are in fact a follower of Christ then one should know that the only being that knows exactly when the world will end is God. That is the most glaring inconsistency with this thing, and the fact that pimike (or anyone, for that matter) has bought in to this whole thing is shocking to me. Predictions for the end of the world have been around for pretty much as long as humans capable of reason have walked the earth, yet some fools believe that they're correct with this one.

so you are saying the rapture is the last group of people that will go to heaven. after that everyone else goes to hell. you cant repent and accept God after the rapture?

i have another random question. if the devil is so bad why does he punish people in hell for eternity. sound more like he is an agent of God doing his work. they are really buddies. otherwise he would stick it to God by letting everyone party and all on debauchery in hell to stick it to the Man.
