Don't know how old you are curious. Back in '73 while I was in high school,
there was a short lived fashion, girls wore, that the school outlawed.

They wore a skirt that covered half their ass with matching underwear.

The Maya did not say that the world will end. Their calendar ends in 2012. It ends because of Galactic Alignment. The Galactic Alignment "is the alignment of the December solstice sun with the Galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the precession of the equinoxes" (John Major Jenkins http://alignment2012.com/whatisga.htm).

The Galactic Alignment only occurs once every 26,000 years and this is what the Mayans were pointing to with their calender.

Some believe that when we are in alignment at the end of 2012 some sort of spiritual energy that has previously been shielded from Earth will now be totally open and human beings (but not SBR members) will evolve into some sort of spiritually good beings. I don't really know what this means but I do know that SBR members won't be included.

The Mayans never said that the Earth was going to end, or that human society was going to end.
