I never realized that a two bit poker game and posting in a gaming chit chat room could mean so much to some. Absolutely shocking to me how someone could find this shit important enough to save pics or rant over a hand of cards for days on end.

so many possibilities here for laying down a hand with 5-1 pot odds, but i'll touch on another:
what if po didn't want to show that he was raising pots with 7/9 offsuit? by calling at 5-1 or whatever the odds may be, he "might" be making a mathematically correct decision that ends up going in everyone's notes and costing him big time over the long-run because now they see he makes big raises with rags.
so for people to say it's an auto call and anyone not auto calling is making the worst decision in the history of poker is somewhat ridiculous.Comment -

Ok, here you go... there is a 2nd part to this chat that I couldn't record because the stupid program I bought only gave me 10mins of recording until I got the licensing key - and half of it was wasted waiting on hold. However: I'm really grateful that I can talk to some higher ups - Paul is a Mahogany room Sup and shouldn't be wasting his time talking to me, for those who know what that room means. I truly appreciate the fact that he did. Class acts there and I'm lucky to have done some work for them. But the result was that if they check and the other guy has rags = no action will be taken unless there's a pattern of targeting.
(And sorry BigDaddy... Just bought a new lappy and this was the only pic I had on it (don't ask why). Need a pic to convert mp3 to youtube)

If a player has a chip lead at the table and is dominating the table, its actually a smart move for the chip leader to make "bad mathematical decisions" in order to keep the table dynamic together in his favor in order to continue to win hands as the tournament progresses. Usually it's just a bvb fold or a what could be considered to be "an easy call" from the blinds without having invested anything else in the pot. That said, you rarely ever see a raise then fold to a 3bet with such a small percentage of chips to call that meets that criteria.Comment -

I agree with your opinion.
But I also agree with Paul because I know he doesn't mess around. If PO had a good hand and laid down, he should be penalised.
However I've played with him many times on the big ring tables for a hell of a lot of points - and there's no way he'd lay down unless he thought he was beat.
Someone show me that he didn't have rags and I'll make a video doing something gross. Won't happen though. He had the same crap that he constantly tried to buy and push pots with me with when they were worth 10k and more. Those are 10k real pts. Not prelim pts.
Guy did some crappy things as a human (and I'll never let you forget them you wanker) but he knows how to play poker a little. My guess is that he tried to buy the pot, got called and shit himself so bailed so he could save chips for the final knowing he'd make it there. And then he trash talked tt because 1. they don't get along and 2. anyone who has listened to tt's yammering about arabs or knows po's history can see why'd they flame out against each other.
