No they always jam AK pre at level 7 or higher. No one here is good enough to min raise AK and check fold if they miss. Almost 99% of the time late in tourney when the 3 bet pre is a min raise it is AA or KK.

I got lucky on Saturday, cashing twice, but that was just a blip in the universe. I'm still on a very bad run.

The numbers here show it, but that doesn't include that I play two other tournaments weekly/bi-weekly that shouldn't be so hard to cash in (one pays 10 out of 50-55 and one pays 3 out of like 13-20) and I haven't cashed in those either in quite a while (the latter I've never cashed in. 0 for 4 I think, and I have a terrible beat every time).

I'm still waiting for my lucky streak.

also, this guy ndntarget is a riot. He won a three way all in with 10s, shouldn't have been in the hand..

Then with him as small blind, me as big blind (75/150), he calls the big blind. I then all-in with 630 and he calls.

He was holding 25. I had 9s. He called with 25.

Flop was AA9, turn was 4, river was 3, so he rivered a straight, but lost to a boat.

Funny hand today. JediHash with a 50 stack pushed allin. I called for 20 with my AK and them Moyal with 100 stack ummed and ahhed and said he had JJ, and eventually called too.

Flop comes Jxx, then x x and Moyal wins.

But the funny part was the dude flipping out at Moyal for calling with JJ, asking him why he didn't think he would be dominated blah blah.

Moyal argued back for quite a bit that nobody can fold JJ. Until eventually the light bulb went off about what he had done wrong.

It's like these guys that are so smart that they berate others about playing correctly but are somehow totally clueless that teaching Moyal what he did wrong is just taking away everyones chance to make a note Moyal over values pairs and profit from it, probably within the next few orbits even!

Have you thought about tightening up around the bubble? Not saying it would have helped in this hand. But maybe throw some of those bad Ax hands and low pocket pair hands away preflop especially when there are a couple of guys really short stacked. Seems like once we get down to 20 then there is a flurry of people trying to bust out fast as possible and it usually is not to tough to move up even when you have very few chips.

I have KK and re-raise to 300. Everyone else folds and he calls. Flop J49 offsuit. Pot 650. I bet 600, he all-ins and flips J10. Turn 4, River J.


this came after I had AK, someone called my big raise, and somehow apparently sucked out by hitting a straight with an 8


When people are calling elite hands and ~4x re-raises with J10 and hit them anyway, there's nothing I can do.

I started betting bigger with premium hands because in the beginning people used to suck on me constantly and I was told "you have to shove big." So I shove big and they call and suck out anyway.
