Thanks Sammy, will get on this. What is the travel cost from the Los Suenos Marriot back to the airport in San Jose so I can decide to stay there or not after. I know Costa Rica isn't a big country, but if I stay ocean side I really am not sure what it takes to get back to San Jose.

Im down!! I have never been to one of these bashes before. But I want to make sure the rooms are covered. When I go to the links its telling me the rooms are $147 a night...

Yes, rooms are covered, and if you registered early enough, I think that SBR reimburses $300 of your airfare. I'm not too sure on the airfare part, you'll have to read up on it or another member can chime in.

I don't understand this. Also I would like the option to select an upgraded room at Los Suenos. Particularly, the Ocean View is $146 compared to $111, I would gladly pay an extra $35 for a room with a view (the group discount room says "No View"). I live in the dry plains of the US; I want to see some ocean!

your room is taken care of provided you checked the need hotel rooms box when signing up, same way for airfare reimbursement. there was a box to check off

Anyone else trying to check in early and having this issue? Booked my flight and the Saturday night hotel already.

There is a problem with the link for those of you wanting to extend your stay at either Hotel. It is being worked on by the marriott who states it will be fixed by tomorrow.

The difference in pricing is due to the free breakfast that is being offered. As for upgrades that is something that you will need to contact Los Suenos about.
SBR will only cover the amount for each hotel that is described in the reservation commitment.

I'm coming in on Friday, I haven't decided yet if I'm staying more than just the 2 days being offered because of my work schedule, but if I do stay longer it will be on the back end, Sunday and on as opposed to coming in earlier than Friday morning.

Was able to confirm both hotels with an extra night on the front end, $147, and extra night on the back end, $143. See you there. Although I would be interested in exploring saving thirty bucks and skipping breakfast, if that is an option. Not a big deal either way. Anybody else coming in on American Airlines flight:2167 from Dallas on Thursday? Arrives at 7:30 pm. I will be leaving Monday (no way I am missing my first round of golf in Central America on Sunday) on flight 2166 leaves 9:25 am. So if transportation is going to be an issue I would like to explore sharing a cab or helicopter or whatever.
