#110Ohh I see. It's well worth becoming an SBR Pro to attend this trip alone, but I feel I wont fit in with the crowd that will be attending...besides I'd be trying to party get drunk and f*ck local women smoke local pot while majority would be trying to visit sportsbooksOriginally posted by sam9ballFirst off you need to become a Pro and SBR will provide 2 days hotel stay and up to $300 in travel reimbursement if you are one of the first 50 to sign up and attend

#123It's a resort on the beach. After you stay there, there are plenty of hotels to stay at in the surrounding area, but no other resorts like Los Suenos. There's a Best Western that is beach front, and that's about it for the hotel chains in the area. Then there's a bunch of small tourist hotels and hostels that are much cheaper. Depends on how adventurous you are. Personally, when I go to Jaco, I stay in Jaco, in one of the hotels close to the beach. Los Suenos is maybe 10-15 minutes from downtown Jaco, where all the partying is at.Originally posted by hawkwind$147 a night seems a bit steep! Was looking to stay from the 17th to the 22nd...
Last time I went a few months ago, I paid $60/night at a normal hotel in the middle of Jaco. But you just can't beat Marriott Los Suenos either. Very nice beach resort.
If you're a surfer, or want some tranquility, then most definitely Playa Hermosa, which is about 15 minutes down the road from Jaco. It's my favorite beach on this part of Costa Rica. Black sands, killer surf (competitions are frequently held there), very laid back Caribbean-style kind of community (translate: people just surf and smoke weed all day long)Comment -

#127Yes the roms are still available all you need to do is reserve your room using the Links.Originally posted by bigbet1234Sam, are there still comp rooms and $300 in airfare available?
Costa Rica Marriot Hotel San Jose
Los Suenos Marriot Ocean & Golf Resort
As for the reimbursement you will need to be one of the first 50 that sign up. Although over 70 posters have signed up unfortunately not all will attend so chances are that you may make it for the $300. But I will not be able to confirm this till all confirmations and rooms have been reserved.Comment -

#132They were charging a cover, so it was freaking dead when I went a few months ago. They've since stopped charging a cover, so I'm sure that business has picked up some. The Monkey Bar and a new place called the loft (in front of los amigos) is where the party is at now.Originally posted by blittydeuce
