My wife and I will be down the week before. We are going to set up a few tours. There are a few that are bringing "spousle units" along. If they're open minded to a drinking croud, they'll be fine.

Coming in a day or two early. Possibly staying at the Mariott Courtyard San Ezcazu. Is this a decent area? Close to things to do?


Anyone else coming in early looking to split a room? I dont plan to be in there much so no reason to pay full price.

I've stayed at the Courtyard before...its a decent hotel and it is across from Hooters, actually! It's located off a busy road and in an outdoor mall- there are some nice restaurants and bars right outside your door, plus you're pretty close to the SBR office, Intercon, Multiplaza and expat part of town. Great location. The Costa Rica Marriott near the airport is nicer and prettier though...I love it there and the Los Suenos Marriott is even more amazing, you won't believe how gorgeous it is, I CANNOT WAIT!!!

The Sportsman looks decent for $59 a night, might upgrade if I stay there though. I have Mariott pts I could use at the Courtyard, but would have to cab it to where you guys will be for the nightlife.

Looking forward to meeting IWIN and you other guys.
