Well, if you wanted to give an equal comparison, you would have to say that posters that lived in Jaco, Costa Rica were not eligible. I don't understand this. I'm worth the same as a poster in California. I'm a SBR Pro, and I've deposited money into a sportsbook, so what's the difference between me and somebody that lives in the states?

Has anyone managed to make a reservation using the code? I've tried 3 days before, 2, 1... and it keeps coming back "group rates not available for selected date".

why should SBR spend close to $300 on rooms for you when you can just as easily stay at your own home since you live in the country? and it makes sense they do the same for Vegas

Again, if you want to make this is a fair comparison, you would have to say somebody that lived in Las Vegas, vs somebody that lived in the state of Nevada or in Southern California (but still within driving distance). I live in Costa Rica. I do not live close to Los Suenos at the beach.

The rates are set for these dates for anyone extending their stay in Costa Rica.

Marriott San Jose is available for 3 days prior to August 19th which would make it August 16th. As well as 3 days after till August 22nd

Los Suenos is available 3 days prior to August 20th which would be August 17th. As well as 3 days after till August 23rd

That's BS that chili can't get a room.
He doesn't live in San Jose....he lives in the country.
It's like saying if you live in RENO NEVADA and the bash is in VEGAS....you can't have free hotel rooms.....cause you could drive the hours round trip.

Point well taken. SBR updated the fine-print with respect to CR-based SBR Pro members.

Costa Rica based attendees may have their choice of one room—Marriot San Jose or Los Suenos Marriot—paid for by SBR.

Yeah, that's what was happening to me when I tried to book days before the 19th. Sam's getting the Marriott to fix it for us. Thought I was going loopy when it wasn't working for me.

Airfare is purchased, and Los Suenos is confirmed.

The other hotel kept kicking my reservation back out, but I've seen where a few others have experienced that same problem, so I assume that glitch will be fixed soon.

No getting out of it now, boys. Its on.

For those of you planning on coming in early or staying later the Marriott is extending the rates to 3 days prior and 3 days after the SBR Bash.

Thanks Sammy, will get on this. What is the travel cost from the Los Suenos Marriot back to the airport in San Jose so I can decide to stay there or not after. I know Costa Rica isn't a big country, but if I stay ocean side I really am not sure what it takes to get back to San Jose.
