They go through this Bull S**t every time a contract comes up. Sometimes it goes on for quite a while. Sometimes it is settled in time for the season. If you do not have NFL Red Zone, you are wasting a lot of time.

I have DTV for the Sunday ticket and sports package. Almost everything else that I watch is streaming.

I am throwing a lot of money away on DTV.

If I could find a way to get all the sports (football especially), I will cancel DTV.

AS for the Sunday ticket do you have one out of market team you like to watch every week. I find the NFLREDZONE is a better way to follow all the action

As a former Sales Rep for DirectTv I can tell you the only reason they are even in business is the NFL Sunday Ticket. Even DirectTv got smart and came up with DirectTvNow (Their streaming seevice) advertising "no contracts, no satelites, no bulky hardware" Those 2 year agreements are a nightmare from them. 2Nd year your package "comes out of promotion" and your bill nearly doubles. All that said, Streaming sports is absolute dogshit unless you are on fiber. Upstream on Cable and DSL(centurylink) simply cannot handle sports in 4k.

Yeah that is what my buddies have. I just want to have all the games. Not a certain team. Just want to make sure I can watch a game if I have some jack on it

I am on fiber with a mesh network in my house.

Gotcha.Great thing about the REDZONE is 7 straight hours of commercial free football every Sunday. And if the game you have $$ on has key plays you will see them. Maybe on a bit of delay but they show every TD from every game. BUt get what you are saying.

many of you lost CBS, in my area we lost NBC. they are presently "in talks". Directv is getting ridiculous with price, every year they raise it. If you have three or four TV's and 4K and a decent package you are lucky if you are paying only 150. I am starting to wonder maybe Dish might be a better buy.

I do Netflix, Amazon Prime, Direct TV, and a subscription to public television streaming. Add high-speed internet and phone and my cost just for TV, internet and phone is about 300, and maybe I am getting off cheap.

I'll walk and I've been Directv costumer for the last 15 years or more. I'll probably start shopping around soon as I do think they are bit over priced for the channels you get as well..

As I mentioned, as a former DirectTV employee, they wont give 2 fukks and will gladly take the 15 years worth of $ they already got and not offer you any type of loyalty promotions or discounts. They treat your neighbor who just signed up amd hasnt even made a payment better than a 10+ year customer.
