These big companies just went real high real fast, they are growth trades and we are in a pull back but they are still growth trades.

While there is opportunity to sell here, there will be support and an eventual run back up.
i had not read this before i posted my thoughts above but I 1,000% agree with you. if i did not, i would trim a bit right now but i am not. i don't want to miss the next ride up through late OCT

another session or two like yesterday and you can expect:

      - Stim talk to heat up again.
      - Good news on the China trade front to be released
      - J Powell to get his printer running again

We have an election in less than 9 weeks, people. It's not scientific and it does not have to be. It's transparent.

This is just a blip. We are going back up very soon, IMO
Stim talk to hear up because a record stock market fell a little? Stim talk might happen but not because of the stock market. But it's gonna be really hard this close to the election. One side or the other will prefer spin and blame. And then post-election, it's hard to imagine anything. Probably see a long time bickering over results. And then when Trump loses he'll probably set fire to the whole thing on his way out. There still was never any good reason to see stocks at these levels in a recession. The only thing propping it up with the Powell Printer. But how many bullets does that have left?

Right now, S&P just almost exactly at pre-covid ATH Feb levels. "ServPro" levels.

And as I type, the downside keeps accelerating. S&P down 2.7% and won't surprise me if it closes down 5%+. That would be around 3280 on the S&P; I think just about 9% on a two-day correction. But 9% can easily turn into 15-20%. Resistance should be strong around 3220ish. That could be tough to fall through, but if it does then look at that 3,000 level. If that breaks then all hell can break loose.

Apple already has buyers, MSFT too.

TSAL and AMZN also off lows. Not saying things can't pull back further, put I sense a healthy adjustment here, not a crash.

                Not yet anyway.

We are up so much on these that we have the benefit of a little bit of room for error.

It will be to trump realizes he is out. Then he will set house on fire and blame dems.

That makes no sense at all, in fact it's dem projection. Trump only weaponized COVID, then the Dems did too.

But because the Democrats our outclassed at the campaign level, all they've done for years is try to set the house on fire and blame Trump.

How is it you don't see that?

Let's assume that's true. Set that aside

He's just saying let's suppose Trump loses. How is he going to react? How will those long 2.5 months look? You don't suppose he might want create an "I told you so" situation and promote chaos?

It could be the worse 2.5 months this Country will ever see. Trump is such a vindictive prick, i can see him causing total chaos over the turn over to Biden's team. The best site will be the SDONY authorities putting him in cuffs the day he walks out of the WH.

Do you understand the fed has been propping up the stock market? Do you understand most companies are getting ready to go bankrupt on loans they took out under Obama administration? Do you understand that stock market does better under Democrats. Trumps administration is full Democrats as even Trump is a Democrat. The stock market did well under Reagan but that was because he was born from Social Security to find his programs. It also did decent under poppa bush because he was following the same book as Reagan.

Because I’m a Republican who understands that Trump is not a Republican. Tariffs Are not some thing the Republicans believe in.Picking winners and business is not some thing Republicans believe in. Spending like a drunken sailor is something Republicans don’t believe in. Nothing personal but you need to look up the values of a Republican!

O.K. reading some of the recent postings in this thread make me laugh. I love it when the Trump haters make accusations on what he will do while totally ignoring that the democrats are doing the actual thing they accuse the Trumpster of doing. Its almost like they're thinking: Hell our side does it and we have no scruples, so it stands to reason that the Trumpster who is a total asshole but does the right thing at almost every turn will do something worse than what we are doing.

                                              Search the history:

2016 peaceful transition of power = democratic scandal that will unravel hard if Trump wins the election but not be heard of again if Biden wins. This is the biggest scandal ever in the political landscape. The entire swamp of Washington is trying to keep a lid on this one, even other republicans and life long swamp workers. Eeventually when the Trumpster wins in November, this will be a huge story of epic government shaking proportions.

Russian interference and collusion accusations by the dems while their can'tidate was paying for Russian dossier in full.

Touting inappropriate meddling in Ukraine while ignoring the democratic Vice President from the last administration total interfering in Ukrainian criminal investigations because his dead beat son was "employed" by the company that is under investigation.

Now accusing the Trumpster of inciting violence in the hoods across the United States by the democrats while simultaneously touting the fund for bail money to release the criminals and touting the very domestic terrorist that are organizing the riots. Excuse me "Almost Peaceful Protest."

The new one will be the election results. The dems are already gather up every lawyer in an attempt to swindle their way to power. The question some of you should ask is what will the Biden camp do when they lose? I'm willing to bet things will be ugly as they are dragged kicking and screaming out of the spotlight.

Oh I almost forgot another big one. The belief that the Trumpenator is acting like a king, when in fact it is the democratic governors that are using these power tactics to sniffle the rights of their citizens along with the media's help of running interference. How else could the governor of New York gets high ratings while leading the old and sickly into their death by executive order?

So ask yourself: Why are the democrats doing the exact things they are accusing the orange commander in chief of doing? I would say it is because they can, they have the media on their side and they know that there are a shytload of low information american voters out there that will believe almost anything they spout off about if they have more than 2 people corroborate the story.

Now onto the sad list of my stocks this week in alphabetical order except for the scanner stocks.

                                              AU: AngloGold Ashanti Limited

Ok this one was drifting down and on Wednesday, I happened to be home from work with nothing better to do, so I scalped a trade with it. It withstood the downdraft on Thursday and Friday so it is still in OK shape waiting for the next leg of gold's accent.

This one dipped on Monday on news from some bank somewhere that they are just holding it. That sent the stock down on the open past my initial stop loss. I looked at lunch time and saw the bad news so just like a miner, when I get in a hole, give me a shovel because I'm digging deeper. Well, the stock popped back up and I sold a little bit for another scalp save. Then on Thursday and Friday, the stock actually gained. I placed the stop loss at $15.06 and we'll see what happens next week.

This one fell down to what has been strong support for the last month or so, and triggered a buy order so I collected some more of it. Then as predicted, it bounce off and when gold gets to the $2005 level again, I may sell a little bit unless gold blast through the resistance.

This one played the rope a dope on me. Wednesday it finally broke out a little, only to plummet on Thursday to trigger my stop loss. Thankfully I moved my stop loss up after Wednesday to just above where I bought it at. Si I'll take my $3.90 gain and go get a candy bar.

                                              DKS: Dick's Sporting Goods

This one ran up pretty high during last week, and continued to hold strong all week. Even made a gain on Friday, so things are still going nicely for this one well above the 9 DMA so I hold until it gets below. I list the 9DMA as the stop loss level, but I don't automatically sell at that level. the stock needs to get below and fail to recover above the 9DMA the next day to be sold.

This one dropped on Monday and didn't recover, so it got the chopping block on Wednesday. On tuesday, I tried to a half assed scalp for Wednesday, but it just continued down Wednesday morning so I cut it.

This one ran up on Wednesday only to fall like a rock on Thursday. Friday it had a long way to climb to make the cut, but right off the open it plummeted into the abyss so I got rid of it.

All in all despite the selling of all but 1 scanner stock, I'm happy with the scanner performance. Under normal conditions, most of the scanner pickups would still be viable and actually making money. I did add a criteria to the scanner where the 9DMA needs to be gaining at a minimum ratio compared to the price. So the 9DMA needs to be gaining 1/2 of 1% on a daily basis over the last 9 days while not having any day over 2% movement up to skew the results. Yeah, a programming nightmare but we'll see how it goes in the future.

Surprisingly, no stock made the cut this week so it will just be DKS for the week to keep track of.

This is the biggest scandal ever in the political landscape. The entire swamp of Washington is trying to keep a lid on this one, even other republicans and life long swamp workers. Eeventually when the Trumpster wins in November, this will be a huge story of epic government shaking proportions.

                                                      This answer is simple.

He has to fight the entire swamp in Washington, even the republicans. Hell they can't even dismiss a court case for a guy the FBI framed without the judicial system twisting itself in knots to figure out how they can thwart what legally needs to be done. This is just starting and it will take some time due to people in positions that have the ability to stall things. They can stall but they can't stop anything. If however Biden gets the opportunity to take some afternoon naps in the oval office, this will never be mentioned again.

You can't be this daft. Why couldn't jared and ivanka vote for daddy in the primaries? Because new york is a closed state and they were registered democrats!
Ivanka and Eric Trump failed to change their party affiliation to Republican in time for the closed New York primary, leaving them unable to vote for their father

. Why isn't mnuchin in jail for the housing scandal and his predatory loans? Because he was registered dem. and gave 1 million donation to dem party. Who was supposed to prosecute him? Why none other than kamala harris.
The former California attorney general, now a U.S. senator, wouldn't say why she didn't prosecute the bank owned by Trump's treasury secretary nominee.

Why did wilbur ross go to jail for screwing miners? He got rid of safety regukations which led to the sago mine

I cpuld go on amd on and show you where his cabinet is nothing but crooks. Ever wonder why trump's new appointees are always lobbyist? Because they are swampy just as he is. Why did trump have to go overseas to borrow money. BECAUSE he fukked everyone in usa. Reminds me of pete rose. WHy did he have to go to new york to bet? Because he screwed every bookie in tri state of ohio,ky and indiana.

oh my god. Do you know that if you lie to a cop you go to jail? Fbi are cops on a federal level. Do you know he plead guilty twice? Do you know that he offered erdugan to send a citizen back to turkey for 3 million dollars? Do you know the judge is supposed to make a ruling before you can go to appeals court? That they have done everything out of order? You need to learn to googkle.

Yeah I know all that stuff. I also know that when the prosecution has no interest in prosecuting, the judge can not step in and do that job for them. He is supposed to be impartial. It is why that lady liberty chick is blind folded. It isn't because she likes S&M games. Eventually the case will work its way up the chain and will be dismissed. My guess is magically after the election which is when this ** flu thing will also reside.

We have a couple years of pain coming in layoffs, bankruptcies, corporate offices getting cleaned out that haven’t even begun yet. they have a lot of cash and I think once reality sets in this stock will see momentum.
