Memphis will run their streak to 18 wins and cover tonight when the Tigers travel to the Don Haskins Center to meet the UTEP Miners.

I’m going with Memphis tonight as they look for their 18th-straight win.

This Tiger team is too quick, too athletic and too deep for UTEP to handle. The Miners dropped their only game against a ranked team this season, losing at then-No. 20 Syracuse 83-69 on Nov. 12. UTEP has lost its last six against Top 25 opponents, and 19 of 22 since 1996.

Memphis is stingy on defense, especially this month. The Tigers have outscored their opponents by 23.0 points in their seven February wins, holding them to an average of 59.3 points and 37.1% shooting. There’s no slowing down here not with the Conference USA Tournament just around the corner.
