70kgman NBA/NCAAB totals season long thread

I just started betting to win 3% of my starting available bankroll on that day for each play.

So hypothetically, if I had a bankroll of $10,000 and had 3 wagers that day. They would all be $330 to win $300. If all 3 won, new bankroll would be $10,900, and the next day my wagers would be $359.70 to win $327. If all 3 lost, new bankroll would be $9010 and the next day my wagers would be $297.33 to win $270.30. ect...

I really didn't put much thought into coming up with the 3% figure to be honest. Just kind of picked a number that seemed conservative enough given that I don't play too many games on a day to day basis. Was planning on going back to flat betting for the playoffs though, since I probably wont have many plays.

I guess that method is good if you don't have a lot of money to deposit into the book to begin with. And I guess it depends on how often you like to withdraw as well. If I had a ton a money to start with, I would probably prefer just to flat bet and cash out any profits at the end of each month or something along those lines. But I didn't have a lot of money to invest into getting started this season, so percentage betting and just waiting until the season was over to start withdrawing made more sense for me.

Since I'm not an SBR Pro I'm not sure how much use they are to me. I tried to purchase something when I reached 850. All I could get as a non-pro was a t-shirt I had no interest in owning.

Thanks for the points. Appreciate it. I don't know of any way for you to transfer more than two points a day. I guess they put the new point transfer and store policies to counteract all the ghost accounts. Sucks that they limited the non-pro's to only SBR merchandise.

Boston Bruins +230 live-in-play (2nd intermission, losing 1-0) is good value. Boston are dominating this game, they just cant seem to score. Just a matter of time before they start going in. Boston have also been an excellent 3rd period team all season. 5Dimes has in the in-play lines.

I was pretty close to taking the Sabres in game 1 too.

Once again, please excuse my ignorance of hockey, but what is an "away goals" bet?

It is a wager on the 4 road teams (getting 1.5 goals) vs. the four home teams. Just the combined final scores added up. For example, Away would of won 5-3 in the three games yesterday. All three of the moneyline wagers I made tonight were road teams, and the other road team (Nashville) don't give up many goals, so I thought I may as well throw a unit on that as well.

p.s I wager less on my NHL plays than I do everything else. I take mostly plus value underdog picks when I think the favorite is being juiced more than they should. So obviously I can be prone to some losing streaks betting like that. Just winning 50% of my NHL picks should bring in a decent profit.

Yeah, an extra goal on that wager is a great line. I checked a few different books and they are were all and still are +1.5 (-105 or -110).

And some game 2 full game totals are a possibility. Since these series are just the same two teams over and over, I will basically be able to cap them the same way I do 2H wagers.

Laying off the hockey tonight. Will definitely be taking the under in the WAS/NYR game again on Sunday. Game 1 and 2 were both really tight defensively with very few scoring chances. See no reason why that would suddenly change in game 3.

I think the Over 93.5 2H is a good play. But since I already got the Over 189 on the live betting line in the 2Q, I don't see the point for me to play the over 199 by taking the 2H over as well.
