My "leans" that I voided for one reason or another went 7-1 tonight too, after going 6-0 Monday. If I played absolutely everything that showed up on my model as a potential good play without any of the secondary filtering and post model capping, I would of been 16-1 the last 3 days.

thanks 70k, you think tomorrow you can post your leans separate from the plays you actually play just so we can possibly pick and choose if we like them? Im curious to see the ones that dont meet your full criteria for not being official plays. Just a thought

I believe I'd mentioned this once before, but what about the possibility of posting the "leans" that only make it past your first filter as 1/2 unit picks? Do you have any record about how those leans have done overall? I mean I'd sleep a little better if I knew that they were something like 2-14 and we dodged a whole bunch of bullets prior to those 6-0 and 7-1 nights.

I am sure just a lucky run by the "leans". 90% of them get voided because the number the O/U line opens at is way too adjusted to have much value left in it. So playing those would basically just be having an over or under lean in mind beforehand and playing it no matter what number the linesmakers set the total at, which I am sure will turn out to be a losing proposition long term. I don't even know if I would feel comfortable posting the plays I end up voiding as leans in here. I would feel like I am endorsing bad picks that aren't much better than a coin flip. I guess I just pointed it out to show that the model is in ship shape working order at a point of the season I expected to be hard to predict.

The model plays stop when the regular season ends. I don't think it is really applicable during the playoffs. I plan on looking for 2nd half plays throughout the playoffs though.
