here's a stock tip for everyone.. verizon who is wonderfully positioned goes x-dividend apr. 6... i know the market has been going up lately but try and wait for a pullback before apr.6th and buy... you must own the stock at the end of the buisness day on apr. 6th to get the dividend which at 33 dollars a share pays you 6%... FREE MONEY ON 6% of your principal... tough economy,easy money.. if you can afford it buy 200 shares and then on the pullback before the 6th buy 200 more.. if there is no pullback,thats good also cause you've just made your points on the 200 shares plus the dividend.. go money

ticker symbol vz for verizon.. ck i've been trying to get into conoco phillips (cop) and british petro (bp) as ways to play oil cause of their great dividends and well diversification but im waiting for a pullback in them cause i think they are a bit high.. i missed this last rally in them and they are in the low 40's.. im waiting till under 40.. the gold trade is over for the short term but makes since for a hedge in the portfollio always
roag- the dividend date is april 7th so you need to own it at the end of the buisness day on apr. 6th to get credit.. if you purchase the stock before the x-dividend date you are entitled to the dividend.. the trade date governs not the settlement date.. check your paperwork cause sometimes there are problems w/ certain stocks at times but not to often.. the date is the most important factor for a "dividend capture"Comment -
