Here is your final Weather Report for 3-04-09...mixed clouds to partly sunny with a little precipitation...kind of boring weather and seems to be pretty much what we have had lately...although with the silvery secret clouds pouring rain all night, it probably was worse than a wash...lets take a look at the numbers we are allowed to post...

Ck went 5-4 with a +.60 units gained...cumulative record now stands at 39-46-2... -15.25 units lost...the policy of playing his own selections appears to holding on...

I went 1-0 on my Chicago Bulls selection posting a 1-0 and +1.0 unit...cumulative totals now 5-7 with -2.80 units.

My selection for today is the New Orleans Hornets -5 (-130) hosting the Dallas Mavericks...Mavs beat the Spurs last night and travel to the land of Mardi Gras where everyone is in a bad mood because of Lent...Hornets sting the Mavs...

Beautiful weather reigned all over the world as Ck posted his first perfect night since 2-20-09...lets see what happened on 3-05-09...

Ck went 5-0 on the short card with +5.0 units...cumulative totals now at 44-46-2 and units lost at -10.25.

I won with my selection of the New Orleans Hornets to go 1-0 and +1.0 unit... Cumulative totals are now 6-7 and -1.80 units.

Today's selection is the Golden State Warriors +10 (-130) at the Detroit Pistons...JM system play coincides with my thoughts exactly...they may win the game outright even without Biedrins...buy the 3 points if you want em.

Seems as if the weather is usually better when there is less of it to choose from...hmm...might want to watch that weather front carefully in the future...

A short explanation regarding this next selection...here are 2 quotes from today's thread started by Ck...

Look Smacky if you're gonna count te JM plays then you might as well tack on a perfect record for them too. One day you mentioned th Secret Plays failure then the next when one cashes you say nothing. Then this. JM plays are NOT my plays. well anyway, you failed to add the Lakers 3rd quarter and the jazz 3rd quarter.

That's 7-2 today to go along with the 5-0 from yesterday, making it a 12-2 streak, as I am not counting the JM play. As already indicated, ifyou are going to count one then you must count them ALL. But I don't thinkyou would like to do that. It would show how far ahead I truly am. You don't want egg on your face. The system has not lost once yet this year, buddy. Because if you did count all of the 64 wins out of 66 possibilities, my record would be 115-48-2 not including the plays of others that you have put onto my record for God only knows why. If you count the Secret Plays (50-28-4) the record would look like 165-76-6. And that's with you counting the plays of others against me when I did my featured cappers for those 4 weeks.

First of all, thank you all for your valuable and intelligent input here on the Weather Report...I know that many of you are not fully up to speed so let me review the circumstances and rules that have led up to what you are so succinctly discussing tonight...

Willie Bee laid out some guidelines...one very important one is that I can not post the record for any of Ck's plays unless he lists it in his thread with the line he took the play at...unfortunately, since Ck himself chooses to NOT list several types of his plays, he is able to manipulate his record to some large degree...you are mistaken when you say that it is I who is going about it in a "half assed manner"...it is Ck himself who has decided to do this and I think intentionally as it adds another layer to his "smokescreen" of a record...

Ck can correct all problems immediately by posting ALL his plays clearly for everyone to see...then, since I am only reporting exactly what he posts...the record will be perfect..

As it stands now...I must search dilligently for his selections to make sure I miss none that he decides to let fall within the rules...the Golden State Warriors +12 tonight, I believe, falls within the rules and therefore I am going to count it unless Willie Bee rules otherwise...

But...to reiterate...make no mistake about it...Ck is the one that is deciding daily to make this record inaccurate...it is not me that is making the choice to hide his and his JM plays and who knows what other plays by not posting them as open and clear selections on his thread...personally, I do not understand why he would not list these plays as the rumor I hear is that they would help his record greatly...

Again....what does the WEATHERMAN do?...He REPORTS the WEATHER... He does not MAKE the WEATHER...please review this sentence carefully and do not blame the messenger for the message he is reporting...

I don't think he reports the or the JM plays due to the fact that they are system plays. They have nothing to do with handicapping ability. He isn't afraid to have his picks looked at and record out there for everyone to see. I am pretty sure that is why at least that would be my reasoning. Those of us that follow the Secret plays and JM plays know the amount of money they have made us personally so if anybody wants proof just ask one of us that play them. We have no reason to lie.

Today's selection is the Indiana Pacers -4 visiting the LA Clippers...the Pacers have been taking care of the bottom feeders very nicely and this Clippers team should be no exception to the norm...Pacers by 10+.

The last few days have been very impressive...Saturday weather has been iffy though so lets be careful out there as a big nasty front could blow in from the Pacific at any moment...

You would be absolutely correct about the GSW play tonight except for one little problem...the time stamp on your statement in post #316 saying that you had them at +10.5 was at 8:41 pm CST and the game started at 7:30 pm CST...this was the only named reference to the game I found you make anywhere in the thread...I would dearly love to give you credit for all your plays, Sir...you know what you need to do...

Regarding my loss on the Indiana Pacers...I routinely include that in the daily summary of both of our plays in the morning...but if it makes you happy...

I went 0-1 on the night...losing with the Indiana Pacers -4...down -1.10 units on the night...cumulative totals in the morning...

Just for clarity's sake, check post #222 just above here on this page in this thread...My record is now 7-9...I can understand how you might have missed a rare 2nd selection by myself on that night, so no biggie...appreciate the encouragement but I do have a question...I have seen you mention the word "homes" many times...what exactly is a "homes"?...other than the obviously incorrect "plural form of house"...Would you be meaning "holmes" and just leaving the "L" out or is it some form of the word "homie"?
