#807LOL I bought 2 points for the Knicks game, and the last second dunk clinched it for me
I had the Knicks at +7.5 (+4.5 plus 3 points), and the Nets at -4.5, and so the 5 point difference in the 106 -101 score fell right into my 3 point middling window. I was laughing when that happened!
The middling thing doesn't always work though, cause I also tried it on the Jazz/Raptors game, and Grizzlies/Rockets game, and they both failed.

#814Todays Utah game was not the first of the seaon that JM has missed emailing on. There was an Okla game early on a Chicago game where it was #4 of a 6 game road trip. Also missed emailing a Nets A game which lost but did email the B game.
I suppose he's human so I decided to work them all out myself so I dont need his emails.Comment -

Only correction is that the Clippers first road game is on 20/3 against Detroit.
Your dates are ok with me! This is an international forum and most of the world do things the normal way!Comment -

#819Just want to verify. Cartytay is ANY 3 straight away or more? Do/can the systems overlap? Meaning team goes on road for 5 straight away, first two being same conference (play Cartyay game 1) and last three being against the other conference (play JM start of opposite conference game)? I know the JM system but just wanted to clarify the other and how they may or may not overlap. Thanks.Comment -

#820Cartytay played Warriors on their 1st road game of the last 4-game-trip (i think it was minnesota) and won. I played the 2nd, 3rd and 4th game of the series and won on the 4th ... you see, it's possible to win 2 times with one trip, so just take a look on the system records, if both system dont lose -> just do it
but i remember one loss on JM in the beginning of the season (Sacramento) on a 4 game road trip were cartytays system won ... in this situation it would be better to dont overlap -> i will say: it's your decision - you have to look and to calculate over the last seasons if the overlapping streaks brought more $$$ than the losses you took with overlapping killed...Comment -

#823Yes but watch the line and your book options cause buying 3 points (assuming you are going this route) may not be the wise choice if the money line has less vig. If the line is 2.5 (as example) you should take the ML.Comment -

#824Always be careful buying through zero. You always pay too much (buying 3 is not really buying 3) and are usually better off going the ML.Comment -

#830This was the first series of the season and Sac had 3 big losses. It isn't counted because the game fell outside the conditions (Sac had the worst pre season road record). JM gave the tips however so I bet there were alot of angry customers. I am sure he would have counted the win. Fortunately there have been no problems since but there is the occasional series where he could cancel a loss due to creative use of system filters.Comment -

#831Yeah he said Sacramento didnt count because they had the worst road record
Then my friend sent an email to him when he emailed Washington as a play - who at the time had the worst road record...asking if it didnt count because Washington had the worst road record
He didnt receive a reply lolComment -

#837I believe you PM him and he will send a spreadsheet, I think that is what I read before... Although, if I am not mistaken, his system is, you take every away team that is in a series of at least three games and buy 3 pnts and then if you lose the first game, you chase it for the next two, trying to get the win for the series.Comment -

#839I don't know about bookie buster, but this system has been around for a long time... each year it comes out and people call it this or that... I think it was the Harvard System last year, but this year it is the JM system, of course Cartytay just went crazy...Comment -

#840does it make more sense to lose a few more series (assume in the end profit is the same) and not buy any points? doesn't it work out to be roughly the same units won +/-? buying doing this you open up so many more outs (any book in the world) and can avoid books knowing you are even using this system. i.e. betus shades the lines, some books can't buy 3 points, vegas you can't, some books charge retarded juice (5dimes), etc. so if say bet A loses you can go to another book for bet B...and same for bet C? see what i mean? if not buying the points matters that much then forget i mentioned it. thanks.Comment
