Just with regards to totals, I've been keeping an eye on betfair to see where the public money has been going, in both the GC/essendon game and freo/lions game the overs was smashed on betfair and you'd have to think with the books as well, but the total stayed the same, they didn't move it out at all and both games went under, so its worth having a look at betfair, because its an exchange its the only real indication we have what the public is on.

Have never been much of an AFL gambler, but will start a bit from this year. I'm liking the 'points' line that I'm getting on IASbet, $2.10 for adding just 4 points to the line, think it is worth the value.

I wish the over/under markets would go up a bit earlier though. I understand them not wanting to get burnt by the weather in some cases, but you can tell within 24 hours if you need to take a cautious approach or not! Especially for games outside of Melbourne (or Tassie).

Pulled the the trigger on Brisbane, I still think they are a better side then what people give them credit for. The thrashing last week made such a large spread. Brisbane with 9 days break compared to Fremantle's 7. Brisbane with a lot to show after last week. A long time to lick wounds.

Hey guys I'm loving the under in the saints game, total is 177.5 at Bet365. Saints and dogs haven't gone over that in 3 years, the average total for the last 5 games is 132. It is alway an ugly arm wrestle between these two and I wouldn't be suprised to see a total of roughly 120

Is it too early to write the obituary for the Pies chances of winning this year? They looked awful out there, and Swan and Pendo were surprisingly crushed by Judd and Murphy in midfield.
