Home team is pure garbage. This is a bottom part of the league where top two of the teams in this group will advance into playoffs so bottom teams are battling for 2 playoff spots. Right now Graz is not in a good spot, they only have 2 points while 1st and 2nd teams have 6 and 5 so they need a victory. They are a much better team than Olimpija Ljubljana, have more quality and have one of the best goalies in the league. Not much else to say than they are better than Olimpija in every aspect. Home team is hopeless, they at the bottom of the league through entire season so far. They managed to get a couple of victories but that's like one in ten when they have a good day and catch their opponents on a very bad day. Club just doesn't have enough quality, it is almost bankrupt so there are not much of foreign players or they are of low quality. The best thing in the team is goalie but he is confirmed to leave the team as soon as they won't have chance to reach the playoffs anymore. As I wrote, much more quality in away team, though they are not in good form lately. But they need to start winning if they want to reach the playoffs and playing vs Olimpija is a very good chance to bounce on the winning streak. I guess it is possible to see a surprise tomorrow but I think chances for that are low.

Regulation but it's a good line for it, most of the bookies offer Rangers in reg. at +100 or +105 so I took it. Odds to bet on Rangers ML are too low and Capitals are pretty good in SO, should it come to that. Though lately they've lost a few while Rangers have won most of their recent SO but I think match will be decided in regulation because New York is a better team at the moment. Lundqvist is great and Zuccarello + Nash are quite on fire. Capitals are going with Grubauer, somehow I trust him the most out of their 3 goalies. They lost some games, allowed too many goals on last 2... it's derby time with Rangers so I think opening period will be tight and possibly scoreless. It can go the other way around completely, of course, in which case I'm about to lose big time tonight.

Lorenskog has injuried 1st and 2nd goalie, 3rd goalie is a rookie with 1 minute of playtime in the league so far. Stavanger is in good form, they have won this year's Continental Cup and if they win tomorrow, they get to the top of the league as they are 1 point behind 1st place.

Yeah I'm sure you're not the only one taking the Pens in-play. Odds are a lot more attractive a goal down. But that was a horrible 1st period. Cats look sharp and up for this. 2nd period needs to be a whole lot better. Hope the whole team wakes up and gets going.

It didn't seem that horrible to me, I'm sure if Clemmensen let one in, it would be like 2-0 Penguins after 1st period. Instead it was ringing pipes and shorthanded by Panthers. Lots of game left so I'm sure they'll wake up. If not earlier, they'll tie it up in 3rd period.

Yeah, too many penalties took its toll... well Penguins can easily score 2 in 3rd period if they wake up. Malkin is due, he is not playing bad (minus the 1st goal for Panthers) but Crosby line is invisible.

We will see how the 3rd period goes, but the Cats have been outstanding to shut the Pens out for 40 minutes. Of course they can turn it around, but based on the performance so far I am not confident they will do that at all. Just have to hope for the best.
