SBR Breeders Cup Two-Day Handicapping Challenge
Friday/Saturday, November 4-5

Six races posted for Friday's card:
$50 bankroll for the first five races
$100 bankroll for the Breeders Cup Ladies Classic

Nine races posted for Saturday's card:
$50 bankroll for the first eight races
$100 bankroll for the Breeders Cup Classic

*WIN and EXACTA only ($2 Minimum)

*No more than 2 posts in a race picks thread. If you make a second post, it must entirely replace your bets from the first post.

Bankroll funds for each race are "use it or lose it" funds. Unused funds are just deducted.

You can list an alternate wager in the event of a scratch. If you have a scratched horse in your wager and have not posted an alternate or revised wager, the wager is a loss.

Winning payouts are based on the post-race toteboard prices (not the morning lines). Winning wagers will be calculated with the amount risked included - In other words, if you risk $2 on a win bet and it pays $10.00 on the toteboard, the full $10.00 is added to your winnings.

Winning order is determined by top amounts of winnings achieved over the 15 races of action.

Any decisions made by SBR are final.

I don't know how you do these things like give points from one person to another, but why don't we all throw in 20 or 25 points per person. You pick one horse in each of the 15 BC races to finish in the money (first, second or third). When your selection doesn't, you're eliminated. Last person standing wins all the points.

* Only the Ladies Classic (Friday Race 10) and Breeders Cup Classic (Saturday Race 11) have $100 bankrolls. All other races have a $50 bankroll.

Never won betting them

Can be tough with such strong fields, especially when capping international horses, the time forms aren't nearly as comprehensive as stateside pp's. The great thing is you'll see odds on many horses that you would never get outside of a Breeder's Cup race.

I've done fairly well in past Breeder's Cups, so hoping for a strong showing in the contest and my bankroll.

As an FYI regarding grading - today's results will be up sometime late this evening. For Saturday's results, I usually try to update the standings after every couple of races so everyone knows how they stand. No guarantees on that - it depends on how many entrants we have, the number of tickets cashed in a race, etc.

Anyone who has been in these contests before knows it's a lot of fun. Scratches happen, mistakes happen, and misunderstandings happen - but I always look forward to running these.

Good luck to everyone - I hope we go down to the wire tomorrow with a big photo finish.
