Anyone surprised by Kraken start?

Not so much. Their entry draft went really well. They start a 6 game home schedule tonight followed by a game in Vegas. It will be interesting to see whether they can put together a run on top division spot.

It seems like expansion hockey teams have way more success than other expansion teams in different sports. Maybe its because its easier to build a hockey team through the expansion draft. I know in Vegas's case they built their team around a really good goaltender which is smart in hockey. As for Seattle they have some nice young talent which they got through the expansion draft. So I guess it's really not surprising that they're enjoying some early success.

Bet them tonight against the Leafs was happy they walked away with the victory in OT because I got them at plus money. They are hot right now that's one thing for sure so sometimes you just got to ride the wave.
