Dogs have been barking so far this week. Just a matter of choosing the right one in the exact right spot on any given night it seems but it's part of what makes betting on hockey fun... dogs seem to get there often enough to make it worth your while to take a shot on some of these big dog prices.

Totals in hockey are tough now. I bet the Ducks/Lightning game over but of course it lost because the new normal is 6.5 for hockey totals. It always seems that when I bet an under in hockey the floodgates open early and there's goals a plenty early sending the total over. Then when I bet overs the teams seem to play tighter defensive hockey and it doesn't get there.

Why is hockey so high scoring now. Seems like leads are not safe either

Totals are 6.5 which seems high imo, but scoring is up. I think the challenge is to find the Under games because you get some value on the total.
