Optional, it is not exactly the same. In our contest we really cant take teams on spreads of -3, -4 or -7 or the underdogs with the same lines. Also, we are allowed up to 3 teams here.

I took Arunshs approach and figured if i could go one week 5-0 I'd be at least freerolling. Which thankfully happened and I owe Arunsh a lot of gratitude for tipping me off about this contest

Well 2 bad weeks and I'm done.. i stayed in the top 10 all season, had 2nd plc tie entries and blew it. If my calculations are right I'm now in 5th and 6th therefore out of contention...

Just to throw it out there whilst people are still reading this year.
Rough plan for next year is to make it 1000 per entry with max 100 entries. (as I don't think I can really mange more than that)

Instead of needing 5-0 for the weekly bonus, use a Beat The Prick format, where you have to beat my entry to share in the prize pool.

Love that idea, sounds great. This contest has been quite fun to sweat every week - to root for my teams to go 5-0. Ok, in the end haven't managed to 5-0 a single time nor be near enough to the top to hope to make Top 5 on the whole, but it made NFL lot more fun each week to follow. Definitely will be in next year with the suggested format - love the BTP style idea of beating a single entry rather than having to go 5-0 to get something!Comment -
