Figured with three entries a week I ought to manage at least one 5-0 over the season, but hasn't happened thus far though I'm not doing badly on the whole with two of my entries. Hard to be consistent though if you want to stay near the top, one bad week drops you a long way. But is fun to root your teams on no matter what!Comment -

5000 freeplay points seems a bit optimistic for anyone - I mean that means going 5-0 five times?? In all the years I played Beat the Prick when it was only five picks, not sure if I ever managed to go 5-0 lol.
Figured with three teams per week rather than the usual one in Beat the Prick I ought to pull it off at least once but had no expectations of doing it more than once for sure. Let's see if I can manage even that though!Comment -
I took Arunshs approach and figured if i could go one week 5-0 I'd be at least freerolling. Which thankfully happened and I owe Arunsh a lot of gratitude for tipping me off about this contest

You cant exactly equate our records here with the real contest. That is because a different strategy needs to be used for the contest here at SBR. For instance, we cant really afford to take any spread at -3 or -4 because of the potential ties and thus we cant win the 1000 point bonus. But if you were actually in the real contest, taking a +3 or +4 would be a good idea but not in our contest
In other words, i doubt that yisman would have made the exact same picks in the real contest. He might have done better though who knows?Comment -
